East looked lovingly at the little girl in front of him as she observed the beautiful colored birds in the aviary. Summer Kelly. His pride and joy and the only apple of his eye. East could never imagine anything so beautiful than his daughter Summer. Her hair was the color of sunshine in golden locks taking after Nicole's glorious hair. Her blue grey eyes so like his own. Even in Summer's temperament they were so alike taking after his patient and giving nature. She was a gregarious kid. Twice as sharp for her age of four years old and forever curious. Summer was daddy's girl and there was nothing in the world East wouldn't do for his daughter or Nicole for that matter.

It had been a wonderful five years with Nicole. There was no other woman East loved and worshipped than his wife. There was always an air of surprise in their marriage never a dull moment that always kept him on his toes. Nicole excited him more than ever always imagining things as if they were always on a first date. Like most couples they had their share of petty fights but East always made sure to patch things up with Nicole. Always making sure he apologized first even at times he wasn't at fault which made Nicole love him more. That's what they always had in their marriage sizzling spice and their undying want for each other.

They made Connecticut their home together with their work. Their love for architecture grew even stronger. The thrill of building new structures together as husband and wife. They gambled on their talents building their own architectural firm with Ben Anderson. Kelly & Anderson Architects and Design. It started out small but in their first year marked the start of greater things to come for all of them. East was proud of the company they made. The firm making a name for themselves among other architectural veterans. Through hard work they established themselves as one of the most sought after architectural company in the state.

East felt he had it all in his life. He felt very blessed and lucky to have a wonderful wife, a thriving career on his own and as he looked at Summer. East knew he had the greatest gift on this earth. His adorable daughter who meant the world to him.

Daddy look at the peacock. It's feathers. Wow! she exclaimed looking like Goldilocks to East. Their Goldilocks East thought.

Yes my baby. They are other beautiful birds too. Look at the parakeet. pointing to the bird with the green feathers.

I cant say that daddy only para..she exclaimed making East laugh.

They continued looking at the birds as they both looked at it in fascination unaware that Nicole was watching them from afar.

Nicole could only look at her husband East and her daughter Summer. They were so much alike in temperament. How much she loved East and her daughter was beyond her. At 32, Nicole was eternally proud of East and the great man he had become. The most wonderful husband to her and the most doting father to Summer. He was forever giving thinking about their needs first before anything else.

Nicole could only recall the good memories remembering what a nervous groom East was on their wedding day fouling up his lines until he just said his vows in his own words which brought tears of joy to Nicole. How much he loved her. How mature he was in his ways never giving up when she thought they made a wrong decision putting up their own company but East persevered striving to be his best working hard to prove himself to their new clients. There was no end to East's love, recalling the time she slipped in a snowy pavement being in a cast for 2 months. It was East who took care of her. Doing all the household chores and taking care of their baby with no complaints no matter how tired he was. East had come a long way as a man. A loving husband and doting father. As well as the best architect in his field making her eternally proud of him. How much Nicole loved him with all her heart and even with her own life.

Daddy its mommy. Summer ran to her mom as she came to her with a great big hug.

Daddy's showing me the birds. And it's beautiful mommy. Come see.

East kissed her loving the way she looked at her mini dress exposing her shapely legs as she blushed like a little school girl at his gaze.

Your outfits makes me drool with want he whispered in her ear teasingly.

Really now Mr. Kelly? she teased. Your eyes are burning with desire.

He laughed naughtily. That obvious huh? I'm just admiring my sexy wife. There's no crime to that right?

She pointed a scolding finger to him as he rolled his eyes watching their precious little girl enthralled with the exotic birds.

It was a beautiful day. As they surveyed their masterpiece. All they had done together as husband and wife. The Connecticut Shopping Mall and Aviary. They had the unveiling a month ago which were attended by hundreds of people. Their hard work had finally had its reaps. It's fountain area floating in rhythm to the music. The arch way connection to the other annexes breath taking with glass walkalators as if you were transported in another dimension of space. This was their work of art together with Ben. They were an unbeatable team the three of them and Ben's god child Summer.

You did all these Daddy. Summer said totally in awe. Seeing the breathtaking view her eyes totally transfixed at the ultra modern sight.

Nope me and your mommy did it together with your Uncle Ben. East said giving themselves a pat in the back for a job well done.

Wow! Super! she repeated. I'd love to be an architect someday just like you and mommy.

East laughed tousling Summer's hair. And you'll be the best architect my angel even better than me or your mom.

I'll be the best right mommy. she turned to Nicole expectantly.

Yes you will be my baby. As Nicole kissed Summer. She was their baby and forever they will treasure her making sure she would have all her dreams come true.

Just as their dreams as husband and wife. East brought Summer up to sit in his shoulders as she squealed in delight. East could only sneak a kiss at Nicole loving her so much as he reached out for her hand clasping it tenderly into his own warm ones. His blue grey eyes seeking hers.

I love you Mrs. Kelly he said quietly but his eyes said it all his undying love for her.

And I love you more Mr. Kelly..she replied softly as he smiled widely.

Life was indeed perfect for the three of them as they walked in the sunset together hands entwined with a forever love that will last a lifetime.
