East woke up extra early getting a call from the condo administrator that his place was ready for occupancy. He was tossing and turning the entire night replaying all the hurting words Nicole hurled at him. It was like a seesaw ride of emotions. East felt he was walking on egg shells with her. Being extra careful not to make her even hate him more. But no matter how difficult he was going to have a world of patience for her until he finally softened up all her defenses and eventually win back her heart.

The movers had hauled up all his boxes. All ready to unpack. He was renting it for a year. In line with the construction of Tuscany which will take about a year or more to complete. It was a fully furnished two bedroom condominium unit complete with all the amenities, a 20 minute drive to the site and a 10 minute drive to the main office. The walls all in white the furniture set in chrome. The kitchen ultra modern and the bedrooms spacious. It suited East's taste not that he was very particular. Some part of him remembering his difficult times living in a dingy apartment at the poor side of the city. Even then he was so hard up that he didn't even have enough money to pay the rent. Bearing the yells of his landlord as he humiliated him. Beggars were no choosers. East learned that the hard way. Everything can be taken away from your life at a snap of a finger. He was more grounded now. Thankful for the things he had. Working hard to make a good life for himself hopefully with Nicole. If she learned to give him a second chance.

East sighed at the numerous boxes scattered around his house. How to start he had no idea. He was never good in organizing things. He just had to start with the essential parts like stuff he needed in his bedroom. He worked for almost two hours feeling his shirt plastered to him. The humidity terrible. The new air-conditioning was still going to be installed by tomorrow. He could only take off his shirt trying to take a breather with his thoughts on Nicole as loud rock music relaxed him.

Nicole was tossing in her bed. It seems she had been up the entire night thinking about East even saying how much he still loved her. The way she treated him showing him as clear as day how much she hated him. Sometimes she felt like scolding herself when can she ever forgive? She felt like a hardened woman so unlike her nature. Out of curiosity she even researched on East seeing all his achievements carving a name for himself as a much sought after architect. Not to mention he had even become more good looking to Nicole She could only sigh thinking out loud.

She could hear loud music permeating through the walls. That was the problem with condo units you were so close to each other you could even eavesdrop. How could a person get some sleep when loud voices were heard. Even hearing boxes being hauled up in the hallway. To top it off loud rock music was being played by her new neighbor. Loud enough for her eardrums to burst. That neighbor had no respect for other people Nicole thought. The loud music continued infuriating her further. She was going to have dinner with Kevin that night and she wanted to look great. How could she have some peace and quiet. This new neighbor was going to get a piece of her mind that's for sure. She got herself into a tank top and jogging pants her hair twisted into a bun. She looked terrible but who gave a damn whoever her neighbor was should see her at her worst.

She knocked on the door but nobody answered which left her no choice but to enter the place. Nicole could hear even more the loud music blaring at her ears only to find a lot of boxes strewn around the place. And of all the shittiest person! East bare chested rummaging through his stuff. What was he doing here for crying out loud!

He looked surprise as he saw her and broke into an engaging boyish grin. One that was so hard to resist. Even his eyes got all chinky eyed. Scott Eastwood style.
