Beasts Return
I am running down a hallway of a castle-like building. The sides are lined with torches every few feet, giving the path an eerie orange glow. There's a golden door at the end, the sides of it brightly lit, emitting a glow that was almost blinding. As I reached out to grab the handle the door retreated, I sprinted after it, having no control over my legs. I was breathing heavy, with my heart feeling like it was going to pop out of my chest. My legs are slowly going numb, my arms sore from pumping them back and forth. The only sound that could be heard was the pounding of my feet, echoing off the walls, until I heard a long, deep howl...
Now I'm in a forest, shadows appear in front of me, another howl, more shadows joining together. I risk a look behind me and gasp, giant red-eyed beasts chase after me. I keep running away, and this time I'm grateful. Until I become trapped in a clearing with electrified fence surrounding the clearing. I have a bow in my hand, a quiver on my back, but I still can't move an inch. I close my eyes as I try to aim and hit one of them, with no luck. I drop my bow as they slowly approach me, I stare at one in particular as I notice it has Aaron's colored eyes. I gasp and don't think that's possible, but I remember a legend I read in the library. 'every good nymph has an evil nymph on the other side...' No! It can't be possible though. As it approaches I close my eyes and await my death, I can't possibly defeat them all. I feel razor-sharp teeth dig into my skin and I scream an ear-splitting scream....
I wake up to worried faces staring at me, and a nurse wrapping my bloody leg. I croak:
"what happened?"

I am sorry I haven't posted, and I'm not going to lie. I had testing then during Easter break I was lazy, but I also didn't have much time. Constant family coming over doesn't give me much time to write. And this isn't as long as I wanted but I wanted to leave with a cliff hanger. Sorry to everyone who hates cliff hangers!!
