Bakugan battle brawlers (and the bakugan hunter)

School

I woke up at 6 AM. Ready to face the day as I stood in front the mirror in my room I told myself.
"The boring days are over."
After looking around, I found my small box filled with 17 Bakugans and decided to take only Exedra with me in fear of it getting stolen by a home robber. After that I checked schedule of the day on my phone and prepared the necessary books for school.

"Today we will be doing a running test till 6 huh..." I thought "Maybe I should just skip it?" My legs were sore from running like a madman last night.

But I quickly dismissed that thought since it would only get me into more trouble with the coach.

I guess I just have to wait and have patience till people start to understand how to play the game. I packed up my stuff and entered the kitchen where I made some cereal and started eating while watching TV in the living room, the news is reporting about the event last night, mysterious cards falling out of the sky and people trying to speculate on the phenomenon.
"BORING" I thought while eating my cereal. Their reactions on the event got stale after about 10 minutes.
After I ate my cereal I checked the time, a quarter past 7 am.
"Time to go." I thought while standing up from the couch I took my keys from the counter and left my home. Where are my parents you might ask? Well they are still soundly asleep~~, since they work all day in their restaurant and come home late at night they need all the sleep that they can get their hands on.
As I arrived at the bus stop I saw that a brown haired boy and a blue haired girl yelling and bickering at each other. Dan and Anna.
Anna was the top student of our class and it seems she had an argument with the main character of Bakugan Dan Kuso.
Now that I think about it, the main character of Bakugan was attending the same school as me. How did I never think about that maybe I reincarnated in a Cartoon world?
You know what never mind. It sounds pretty dumb now that I think about. Only crazy people and or weebs think that they might have reincarnated in a cartoon based world.
"I am not gonna let you copy my homework again Dan!"
"C'mon Anna! If Mister Jake finds out I have no homework, he will make write a 5 pages long Essay!"
"Its your own fault! You should've done your homework for today instead of collecting those weird cards!"
When I heard them talking about Bakugan, I started to pay a little bit more attention to their conversation and got a little closer too.
"Oh hey Collin."
Damn I got noticed.
"Hi Dan, Anna."
"Help me convince Anna to lend me her homework man~~"
"Don't you even dare Collin."
Anna gave me a pretty severe glare so I just kept my mouth shut and shrugged.
After 2 minutes of listening to the their quarrel the bus arrived.
I have never loved the bus more than now.
"My savior~~"
I mumbled as I got onto the bus. Listening to their quarrels was a torture, and the worst thing of every school day.
School was uneventful as always.
I first had history class, then math after that English and then we got a 15 min break.

I took a seat at the chess club members table like usual.

They had some pretty weird characters at their table there was the nervous foreign kid Marco, fat nerdy kid Joshua, the serious nerdy girl Jane (who will probably fall in love with nervous foreign kid) and the always depressed weird girl Jacky. Now that I joined their table the chess club became whole again.
"Hi Collin we are going to have a meeting after school, will you come?" Asked the serious nerdy girl.
"Nope. Sorry but I have something to do  after school. I will be there tomorrow though."
"I will take you on your word then."
Luckily I have plenty of distraction that could keep me busy till the day people learn how to play Bakugan. So glad I joined both the chess club! BTW that was sarcastic.

The chess club was pretty much dead, no one really did anything. Most of us would just sit around a room playing random games and group activities to kill time.

Don't get me wrong, I am happy that have activities that help me distract me from the days without other people to play Bakugan with, BUT at the same time I could've used the time after school to search for remaining Bakugans.

Well I guess that I should be happy that I've already gotten my hands onto 17 Bakugans, including the powerful Exedra. Just thinking about it puts a smile on my face.
"Why are you so happy?" Said Jacky. "I just look forward to what the future holds Jacky."
I replied turning my gaze toearfs her face.
She immediately started to turn red and casted her gaze down to the ground.
Well to be honest, I never got a good look of her face since she always has a bang covering half her face and wears her hoodie everywhere she goes.
"Maybe she is hiding the sharingan under that blond hair?" I thought while finishing my lunch.
After lunch I had science class and after that I finally finished school for today.
"FINALLY FREEDOM~~~~" I yelled Outside of school, but then a teammate of the basketball team said to me:" you coming with us to the gym or......?"

I then remembered that I promised the coach to fill in for one of the players who got sick.

"Yeah yeah will be there in a sec."

Hopefully we won't do something seriously taxing exercises, BOY WAS I WRONG.
The coach made each us run 5 rounds around the gym and after that we split into 2 teams and played a couple of training matches.
BUT WAIT, it didn't end there he later even made us do some more exercises, because obviously we weren't tired enough by the running and matches against each other.
The monster then made us run 5 more laps.
Needless to say, I ended up dead exhausted and dispirited.
While listlessly waiting for the bus I could hear a familiar voice singing about how much he loved to eat.
"NOOO~~~~" I yelled as Dan came closer to the bus stop.
"Yo, What's wrong Collin?" Asked Dan
"Nothing..." I answered back. After that HE immediately started singing and humming again. Just quit Bakugan and become a singer man. I thought while waiting for the bus.
And thus ended another one of my school days, needless to say it was horrible.

I ended up falling asleep on the bus as soon as I sat down.
