Bakugan battle brawlers (and the bakugan hunter)

After all of that With Exedra. I turned my attention to my drawer, where all my remaining 6 bakugan were.
"Ok. So listen. I will give you some Bakugans but..." collin
I put some extra emphasis in my words as I turned my attention back to Exedra who was sitting in my hand.
"...You are not allowed to absorb them without my permission." Collin
Exedra didn't think a lot about before answering yes to my demand.

He probaply already made up his mind, absorbing his fellow Bakugans might be kinda evil, but as long as he thinks he has to do it for the greater good, he will do it. Which in turn means I get the service of a strong Bakugan.
With his confirmation in my mind, I opened my little box where in laid 5 bakugans 17 gate cards and 17 abillity cards.

I am not going to make a list of every single card. The match is won when you defeat 3 Bakugans.

After putting Exedra on my desk, he started to attentively watch follow my every move. Which didn't bother me at all.
I one by one opened the remaining bakugans and lined them in front of me: Serpenoid, Sauros, Centipoid, Siege and Juggernoid.
After that I lined up my abillity cards and after that my gate cards.
First I have to decide my strategy, the first thing that entered my sight was the Subterra Ventus Darkus-combo, but sadly I didn't have a  Ventus Bakugan.
However, I did have a pretty rare green abillity card called Siege switch which allowed me to change the atribute of my Siege Bakugan.
So I obviously Chose to have Darkus Siege, the black abillity card Subterra Ventus Darkus-combo and the green abillity card Siege switch into my deck.
To finish my deck off, I added my Subterra Serpenoid and Golden Serpenoid gate card, to actually be able to pull off the combo ofcourse.
Now I wish I could use Exedra's Nebulous Hammer, but even after Exedra had awoken, it was still stuck in a frozen state.
Now I just needed a red abillity card, a silver-and a bronze gate card.
I looked at my lined up bronze cards and chose the 2 that I find the most interesting.
[I can get 'G-power exchange', but if I do that I might screw myself over if my opponent has less than me, if I want to go with the safe playstyle I should use 'Bakugan Duo' which will give Pyrus and Darkus Bakugans +100G atop of the bonus you get from the gate card itself.]
Choices oh choices.
Wait. I am not the only mind here.
"So Exedra which do you think I should choose?" Collin
"I don't even know what these things do and you want me to choose?" Exedra
"Yeah. Adding a little bit of randomness always makes things better." Collin
Hearing that Exedra started looking at the 2 copper cards in front of him, he then turned 180 degrees and jumped on the copper card behind him.
"Oi. Why that card? You didn't even look at it." Collin

"Adding a bit of randomness makes things more fun right? Besides, what would even be the point of thinking too much if you don't even know anything about it." Exedra

I was speechless, I thought that his charachter was the dutiful and serious type, but I guess I was wrong.
"What a suprise." Collin
"Was it a good card then?" Exedra
"No, I was surprised that you had the abillity to make such a light joke...." Collin
...... after you canabalised your own kind. Was what I wanted to say, but I don't think he will be too happy to hear that.
"Nevermind. Let's see what the card is." Collin
I picked up the card and started to read it out loud so that Exedra could also hear the effect.
"'Quartet battle' enter 2 other bakugans to the battle. Seems like an OK card if I send you in the battle and or siege then combine 'Siege switch' and the Ventus Subterra Darkus-combo I could take down 2 Bakugans in 1 fight. OK lets go with this one then. Since we are already picking random cards......" Collin
I spoke while gathering 5 red cards, held them in one hand and then threw them in the air.
As the cards started floating down I randomly picked one of them out of the air.
" 'Battle gate' if your atribute is different from your opponents then you get +100G. Kinda basic, but oh well why not." Collin
Now I just needed a silver card, this was easy silver cards are only to increase the G power so most of the time it didn't have any requierments or rules. So I simply chose the card that gave Darkus the most points. The 'Sunrise' gate card.
