We ended up walking up to a boy with black, bobbed hair. He was just setting up and personalizing his locker.

"Brook, are you almost done with your locker?" He turned around from it.

"Yeah, I just need to add a few things and it'll be done but I left them at home so I'll have to do it tomorrow. What's up?" He asked.

"This is Juniper and it turns out that this guy has the same class for first with us." He pointed to me with his thumb when he said my name.

"Ok cool, as you know, I'm Brook. I guess we'll have to go find 'you know who'." he winked.

"Yeah, we should go looking for her." Gordon suggested.

They went ahead of me, but with the crowds of people, I got lost.

Everything around me seemed to be a blur. I was taking it all in.

High school.....

I was so into my thoughts that I crashed into someone. They let out a gasp as if their air gotten knocked out of their lungs.

I couldn't tell whether they were a boy or a girl. They had short, black, side swept hair that went over their eyes, more so on the right eye than the left, dark skin, and wore a scarf around their neck.

"Can't you just watch where you're going?" They hissed at me. Now I knew they were a girl.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to crash into you. I was just so amazed at this school that I was completely knocked out of reality." I apologize. She looked surprised at my kindness, but then turned back to her stern face.

For a small moment I saw her eyes shine an orange color while I was seeing green. The girl looked equally confused as I did, but then she put on a small frown.

"You really should have watched where you were going. You're going to get seriously hurt one day." She turned away.

I noticed that she had left one of her books behind. It was brown and had orange stitching around the spine as well as a pocket in the front for pencils.

"Hey, you left something!" She didn't turn around. I saw her turn a corner, so I followed her.

I eventually lost her, but found Brook and Gordon instead.

"We couldn't find her, so we'll just have to go to class without her." Gordon told me. I nodded.

We entered the classroom, which wasn't too big nor too small. Brook and Gordon sat next to each other in the back, so I sat next to Brook. And right on time too, the bell rang.

Our teacher came in, he went to the front of the room.

"Hello, students, welcome to your homeroom. I'm Mr. Tudabone, first name Brad. But ya really didn't need to know that. I guess you guys should just get to know each other and stuff." He honestly looked like he didn't want to be here.

"Oh yeah, Juniper, this is who we wanted you to meet." Brook turned over to the other side of Indigo and saw the same girl I bumped into before.

"This is Nicole Brookstone. Nikki, meet Juniper." Indigo introduced us.

"So you're that clumsy kid who decided to not look out for his surroundings. Some green ninja....." She scoffed, not in a mean way, but more of an annoyed way.

"How did you know I have energy powers?"

"Pfft, c'mon how could you not know? Everyone's been talking about you, how the new kid is the son of the prophesized green ninja, Lloyd Garmadon. And just in case you didn't know, my dad is the master of earth. I carry on his powers. So don't think that just because I'm a girl, I'm someone you can mess with, because I'm not." She pulled her beanie a bit down with both hands and turned back around quite quickly to continue sketching ......

"Don't worry about her, she's just always been like that. Mainly because of her.......well we're not allowed to say what exactly." Brook explained.

The time must've gone by fast because then the bell rang. I went to grab my things and saw the book that Nicole left.

I wanted to give it back but she left the classroom. I didn't see her anywhere when I walked out the door. Oh well......

That's one class done.....
