I went the next day without my bandana, since I pretty much used them all on Nicole and she took them.....

"I'm leaving for school now! Love you!" I yelled before I went out the door. I met up with Chryssa. Turns out, Celena went up ahead to set up the gym for clubs.

"Y'know Chryssa, I've realized that you're a lot like Nicole. You're both strong, secretive, jumpy, kinda hate people. Have you noticed that? It's crazy I know." I looked at Chryssa. She looked at me with a surprised expression. Then she laughed. I didn't get it.

"Wow that's a good one! Pfft, I may be like a lot of people, but not Nicole. She's waaaaay too secretive to be me. And plus she's really......insecure about herself. Nicole tries not to fight people, only when necessary as taught by her fathers. I'm part vampire, so I have to fight. I don't really know Nicole that well, but from what I've seen she really dislikes it when people see her as weak. Why do you say that?" She turned back to me.

"No reason, I just thought you guys were alike was all. She just intrigued me. Something happened yesterday that made me think was all." I said, thinking of our eye shine that happened.

"Okay whatever, creepo." She looked at me strange.

(Timeskip to Lunch)

"Hey." I said as I sat next to Celena. Our table was right next to the glass panes with a door that leads outside for people who want to eat outside.

"Oh hi, June. Thanks for what you did yesterday. Nikki's still flustered over it but she still kept your bandana." Gordon said.

"H-how do you know......?" I asked.

"I always look at her diary after she sleeps to see what happened that day to her. But she wrote on paper instead. I read it and she kept a scrap of your green bandana on one of the pages. Just don't tell her please. She'll kill me if she finds out I've been snooping around her room." Gordon whispered to me while he ate his (surprisingly) plain pasta.

"Speaking of which, where is she?" Ashton asked.

"Outside, sitting on a bench under a cherry blossom tree. Probably drawing right now or fighting with Cynthia." Brook said, poking a carrot with his fork.

"How do you know that?" Chryssa asks.

"She always does that, it's best not to-" Brook stopped when he saw me go out the door,"go up to her." He finished just as I left.

I noticed her outside, just as well as a small glimpse of Cynthia as I walked past her.

"Nicole, we need to talk." I crossed my arms and stood in front of her.

"No we don't, now please leave me alone. You've already messed up my life."

I noticed that she had a white eye patch to protect her eye from infections, but she still had the bandage on her wrist with a little bit of green sticking out of it from when I wrapped it right after the fight.

"I can see you're still wearing that on." I pointed to her bandages.

"Yeah, my dads are making me wear it for an entire week! You know I would've been just fine without you. I told you I didn't need your help!" Why was she acting like this? She was different yesterday.

"Nikki, c'mon I just wanted to give you this." I held her book out towards her. She immediately grabbed it from my hands and flipped through the pages.

"First of all, never call me that, secondly, w-where did you find this?" She sounded nervous.

"After we first met, you dropped it while leaving me." I said, she looked really flustered, "Is it important?" I asked.

"Important?! Do you seriously think a diary is unimportant?! You........didn't read it did you......?" She whispered-yelled me, probably because of Cynthia.

"No, I had no idea it was a diary." I said softly.

"Well thanks for finding it, but please I'd like to be left alone now. So bye." Nicole pushed me away with her good hand. But a certain rich girl saw that.

"Nicole!!!!! I swear I'll have that hat off in front of everyone!!!!!" We both turned and saw Cynthia.

"What is it this time?" Nicole didn't sound amused at all.

"Why are you flirting with him? I told you to stay away!" She yelled getting everyone's attention.

"Cynthia, I wasn't flirting, if fact he was just leaving." Nicole crossed her arms. Cynthia didn't look convinced.

"I was just returning a book." I said. She immediately turned towards me and smiled sweetly.

"Huh, oh Juni! How's your day been? Mine has been perfect as always! Or until this brat started flirting with you, are you alright? Do you want me to buy you a lunch?" She batted her eyes at me all innocent like. It made me feel really uncomfortable.

"Cynthia, please, she wasn't flirting, just talking. Plus it's my fault we started talking. If anything, this is pinned on me. And please don't ever call me that....." Now I knew why Nicole didn't like being called nicknames by strangers...

"Whatever you say Juniper~!" She sashayed back to her little group of friends. I sighed.

"Are you alright?" I turned to Nicole.

"Geez Juniper! I told you I can handle it! I've dealt with this for far longer than you have!" She got up, shoved me away and went back inside right when the bell rang.

Dang it........
