8-The Clubs

Everything here was so big! And so many clubs! I don't know whether to join the Science Club, or the Mathematicians, the History Club, The Book Club, The Chess Club! There were just soooo many!

"Oh my Ninjago! They have a Gamer's Club! I have to check it out." Chryssa ran towards the booth.

"Okay." I walk around looking at all the clubs. I then notice Indigo and walk up to him. He turned around and grinned.

"Hey Gordon, joined any clubs yet?"

"Yup, I signed up for the Baking and Cheer Squad! I can't wait until our first meeting!" He squealed.

"Wow, I haven't really chosen a club yet, they're so many of them!" I said.

"Yeah, it took me a while, but then I went with The Potion Making club. You never know when you might need a potion." Brook came around a corner towards us.

"Coolio! You two should join the Cheer Squad. Then we can show team spirit!" Gordon suggested.

"Um, no thanks. I don't think I would be a very good cheerleader." I scratched the back of my neck awkwardly.

"Yeah, plus, I wouldn't want to deal with Cynthia all the time since she's the team captain and we're both living with Nicole." Brook pointed out.

"Pfft, I'm not scared of her. I think maybe we can be good friends!" There goes Indigo trying to look on the bright side of things.

"Yeah, good luck with that. Say, I heard that Winter was joining. Is that why you decided to?" Brook smirked at him.

"Uh......n-no! Of course not! That's just plain crazy, why would I do that?" Her cheeks turned a shade of red.

"Who's this Winter?" I asked smirking playfully.

"Gordon's crush since middle school." Brook said, making Gordon all flustered.

"Let's not talk about that! So um where did Chryssa and Celena go?" He nervously laughed still having a blush on his face.

"Chryssa got interested in a Gamer's club, and Celena went to look for the.......uh.......reptile club......," I felt a shiver go down my spine,"So where did Nicole go? I kinda expected her to be with you guys." I asked.

"Well, Nicole is probably wandering around looking to join clubs and trying not to be seen by Cynthia or her little group of friends. If you want we can go look for her." Brook offered. I nodded.

"Here have our numbers in case you find her." Gordon got my phone and typed in both his and his brother's numbers. Then we parted ways in search for her.

I tried to remember what I knew about Nicole. She had a skateboard, trains with her dad, and draws really well. I checked the art club to look for her. Sure enough, she was there.

She put her hair more over her right eye to cover up the eye patch that was over her right eye. (like anime)

I texted both Gordon and Brook in a group chat saying where she was.

Juniper: I found her, she's by the art club

Gordon: Of course she would be there! I told her she should join it! Wow I can be so dumb sometimes.....

Brook: Keep your cool Gordon , we'll be right there, try to have a conversation with her to keep her from leaving

I tried to text them another plan since I knew for a fact that Nicole hates me, but then bumped into her either way.

"Uh h-hi......!" I stammered.

"What do you want, haven't you done enough yet?" Nicole glared at me, keeping her hair over her right eye.

"Nothing, just that I....wanted to get to know you. We both have dads who were in the original ninja team and that kinda makes us the same in some weird way."

"You want to get to know me?" She raised an eyebrow with a straight face.

"Uh yeah. I was thinking about the first time we met and we didn't really fall on good terms and I want to start over." I kicked a pebble and looked down from my shyness.

"That's right, we didn't fall on good terms. And it's going to stay that way." She spun around and headed away from me.

"Oh well, at least you tried to talk to her." Brook walked out from behind a stand. How long were they there?

"Yeah, but I just don't get it. Why does she have to be so......tsundere-like? It makes it even difficult to be friends like this......" I sigh and watch her glance at me before turning away again.

"She just prefers to keep to herself. Hey, maybe on Friday, we can go to the park together! Then you two can go up ahead and then you'll both have to talk!" Indigo thought out.

"That's actually not that bad of an idea considering you just left me alone with her. But for now, I'm just going to go find some clubs to join......" I left to find clubs.

In the end, I ended up joining the Potion Making club with Brook. But I feel like this day went pretty well considering that I made it through without getting myself killed........
