Today is spring.
Everyone is happy.
Flowers are blooming,
Leaves are sprouting,
And butterflies are coming
After a season of sadness. The butterflies come in
Various shades and hues.
The flowers welcome them,
The butterflies caress them,
And suck the nectar out of them
After a month of thirst. They are all too beautiful
Compare to me, a moth,
Who could only be ignored,
Rejected, and abandoned.
I live all alone,
Hidden by the trees.I really wish that I get
To talk with the butterflies,
But they always teasing
And laughing at my rough wings.
They look too intimidating
For me to even meet one.I guess I'm the only one
To go with nothing.
Out of anguish, I screech,
Wishing to be beseeched
And for me to fully cherish
Spring's loving arms. But all these changes
By near twilight.
The sun salutes good night,
And they sleep under the fading light,
But you, a flower, still has some might
To stand among the drowsy valleys.I quickly flew to you
With my fluttering wings
Without any hesitance.
I know this is my only chance
And my last dance
Before morning wakes up.The flower too is alone
And also wish to have a friend.
You keep on pleading,
But no one is responding
To you crying.
I'm the only one hearing you.The moment I touch you,
You no longer cried,
But you feel the joy again.
I also feel enlivened again
From the pollen gained
From your generous offer.
