You clutched the test in your hands. Positive. I mean, yea. Your husband Leo and you wanted children, but now that you held the test declaring it was really happening, you were scared of how he would react.

Would he get mad and leave you? Would he decide he didn't want kids after all? Either way, you had to tell him.

You decided to make Tacos, his favorite dinner, and tell him while you were eating. He wouldn't get home from work for about another hour, so you left the test on the sink, not thinking to much of it.

You began making dinner in the kitchen. That's when Leo walked in the door, earlier than usual.

He came up behind you and whispered in your ear: "Hello Beautiful." You jumped and turned around.

Your eyes widened at the fact that he was home early. "H-hi Leo. Gods you scared me!" Then you turned back around and continued to cut up the onions.

"Whatcha makin?" He asked smirking at you.

"Tacos. Your favorite." You replied not looking up from cutting the onion.

"Yum." He said. Then left you in the kitchen of your apartment to get changed.

Finally, dinner was finished and you guys sat down to eat, the pregnancy test in your lap, making sure Leo wouldn't see.

Conversation started off small, talking about your day and how your job was going. Finally, you decided to break the news.

"L-Leo. I need to tell you something." Butterflies were swimming in your stomach as you brought the test to eye level, so Leo could see it.

His eyes went wide after he realized what it was. And the fact that it was positive too.

His face went into the biggest smile you've ever seen from him, as he jumped up from the table and picked you up. He swung you around and kissed you deeply.

"I-im going to be a father!" He shouted. "IM GOING TO BE A FATHER!" He was so happy, which made you happy.

And nine months later, a beautiful baby girl, which you named Esperanza Valdez, was born.
