First Date

Yes. The one and only Leo Valdez had asked yourself out. You were shocked when he did. You had always had a crush on him, but always assumed he didn't like you like that. And you were friends, in a way. You would talk occasionally and wave at each other whenever you passed by, but you guys weren't best friends or anything.

That's why, when he asked you, it came as such a big surprise, you didn't really know what you said. You were simply in the woods, enjoying the silence, and warm weather. Suddenly, a small branch cracked, causing you to jump and look behind you.

With nothing being there, you turned back around to come face to face with Leo Valdez. He wore his contagious smirk, and dimples, and beautiful unruly hair, and- Your thoughts were cut off by Leo asking a question.

"So Y/N. I've been meaning to ask you a question." He said, and you gulped.

"I wanted to know if you wanted to go on a date with me?" He asked as calm as ever, which made you fall in love with him even more.

Once you processed what he just said, the words simply flowed out of your mouth.

"YeaIwouldlovetobecauseIreallylikeyouand-" Once again, you were cut off by Leo laughing and saying,

"See you at the strawberry fields around 7:00." He winked at you and walked away as if you just had a simple conversation.

Which brings you to the present time. Exactly 6:00 pm. One hour before you had to meet Leo at the strawberry fields for your first date with him, and your first date ever.

So, you requested help from your friend, F/N(friends name) a child of Demeter, to help you. She picked a simple F/C skirt, and a matching top with small ruffles at the bottom. She applied some mascara, and sparkly eyeshadow to your face, before turning you around to look at yourself.

You smiled and thanked your friend a thousand times for giving you this makeover.

"You look so pretty!" She said, which made you smile even wider.

She gave you a hug, and left to go back to her cabin. Come 6:50 pm, you slipped on your white sandals and headed to the strawberry fields.

Of course, you got there early, not wanting to get there late and give a bad impression to Leo. But soon enough, he arrived wearing a white shirt, jeans, and black Converse. This surprised you considering you almost always saw Leo in a oil stained shirt, and worn out sneakers. His hair was still a mess of curls, but that' s what made him unique and original.

He smiled and slightly waved at you, you doing the same. He reached where you were standing, his bright brown eyes staring into your E/C eyes.

"Your beautiful." He muttered, but you still heard him, causing a blush to creep up your face.

He suddenly smiled, and said, "Follow me!" He started running in the direction of the sunset , and you followed as you started laughing. Finally he stopped at the top of a hill, a perfect view of the sunset.

You were mesmerized by the view, that you didn't notice the picnic off to the side, until Leo cleared his throat. You looked over and smiled brightly.

A blue blanket spread out across the field, with small sandwiches and water bottles. You smiled and walked over to where Leo was, and sat down across from him.

"It's not much, it was hard to come up with something last minute." Leo looked down, and it made you laugh.

"Its perfect." You said, which made him smile and look at you. You continued eating, and talking about little things.

Once you guys finished eating, Leo led you to the edge of the hill, and sat next to you. You stayed in silence for a while, until Leo laced him hand with yours, causing you both to blush.

"S-sorry." Leo said, and pulled away. Your blush faded and you smiled.

"Its fine, Leo." You smirked and laced your hands back together. Leo turned to you and stared at you for what felt like forever.

"Leo are you-"

"Your so beautiful, Y/N. Im sorry. I just had to say it. You truly are beautiful. With or without makeup. Your beautiful." He leaned in, your eyes widened as you realized what Leo was about to do.

Were you seriously going to kiss on your first date? Leo kissed you lightly on the cheek, and you sighed as you realized he wasn't going for the lips.

He smiled and you returned the smile back to him. You rested your head on his shoulder and watched the sun set together.

"I think I'm in love with you." Leo muttered, but you didn't hear him, you were just happy to finally have your crush like you back.

And eventually, you started dating, and finally had your first kiss.
