Feeling Sick

"Y/N? Are you in there?" A voice called through your cabin door. You were covered in a messy heap of blankets, pillows, and used tissues. Not to mention your stomach feeling like it was about to explode and a fever that felt like you were literally jumping into a bowl of lava.

You tried your best to call to your boyfriend with your voice barely audible, but somehow, you managed.

"Y-yea." You said in barely a whisper, then exploded to a coughing fit. Leo walked in to the dark cabin. You weren't worried about it because your sibling(s) were all doing afternoon activities. Leo walked over to your bunk and stroked your feverish head. He then took a heavy blanket covering you off. You turned your head to him.

"No. Im cold." You rasped and pulled the blanket over you again. Leo smirked and went to the bathroom. He came back a few minutes later with a thermometer and some pain relief pills.

"Can you sit up Y/N?" Leo asked in a gentle voice. You groan in response and, with Leo's help, you prop yourself against the pillows. You open your mouth trying your best not to cough on Leo, while he put the thermometer in.

Beep. Leo took it out and squinted to read the small numbers. His eyes widened, then he looked at you.

" 100.6. Looks like you got a fever N/N(nickname)" Leo looked at you and put the thermometer down on the side table covered with tissues, mostly used.

You groaned and turned on your side,not really knowing what Leo said, considering you were very very sick.

"Leo." You said, barely a whisper. You turned over again to face him.

"What is it N/N?" He bent down to your level. You tried not to cough on him, not wanting him to get sick.

"Leo. Im dying. Im not going to last much longer. Go without me. Let me perish!" You then went into a coughing fit.

Once you calmed down, Leo smiled and said, "You not going to die Y/N. You just have some wort of bug. Its going around camp, remember? First Will Solace got it, then Nico got it from spending to much time with Will. And now you have it because you had to take care of Nico since Will had to work in the infirmary." Leo finished.

You just nodded, wanting him to stop talking since your headache seemed to get worse.

Leo kissed your forehead and told you to try and sleep, as he left the cabin for who knows what. Meanwhile, you breathed through your stuffy nose screamed into your pillow.

You hated being sick. Especially when you were old enough to take care of yourself, but needed help from your boyfriend to even sit up.

A few minutes later (which felt like hours to you) Leo came back with a bowl that smelled horrible and a box of something that looked like crackers.

"I asked Chiron." Was all he said, and you nodded, not wanting to fight about how you weren't hungry. He helped you sit up again and tried to get you to eat the soup he brought.

"Come on. Its your favorite! Please?" He asked. You rolled your eyes and motioned for him to give you the bowl.

Big mistake.

It was way to hot, and smelled disgusting, you had to stop yourself from throwing up. Leo immediately took the bowl from you and stroked your hair.

You promised to eat some crackers later, which made him feel better.

Finally after a while, you fell into a deep, and well deserved sleep. You especially liked it since there were no nightmares or noises to wake you up. But finally, when you did wake up, Leo was right beside you rubbing your back and making sure you felt better.

This is one of the many reasons why you loved Leo.

A few hours later, you began to feel a little better. You could now sit up on your own, and eat something without it coming back up. Your headache went away and nose cleared up big time.

You stood up to go to the bathroom, after being bedridden for the longest time. You lost your balance and tripped over something.

That something was Leo. He had indeed fell asleep by the foot of your bed, from taking care of you all day. You smiled at his sleeping face and grabbed a clean blanket in the closet and draped it over Leo's sleeping body. You kissed his forehead and walked off to take a shower.

Oh, how you loved Leo.
