Chapter 12 - Witch club

I woke up in my bed with everyone standing around me. Sophie Devereaux was sitting on my bed beside me. I sat up and looked confused. There was a strange tingly feeling in my fingers and I felt more powerful than ever.

Sophie " Her powers are coming threw and based on that little earth quake this morning you're going to have a lot of them."

Rebekah " How is that even bloody possible?"

Sophie " One of natures loop holes I guess."

"So what i'm like a witch now?"

Sophie "Almost. You will need to learn how to control your powers properly. That requires patience and study."

"ugh well that sounds boring"

I got up out of my bed and walked over to my most recent painting the city skyline. It was my favourite painting out of them all. I turned around and looked at the group of people standing in my room.

"I'm sure you guys have better things to do rather than watch me all day."

They let out a slight chuckle and walked out my room one by one. Elijah staying behind.

Elijah " Magic can be very dangerous Kiera you need to learn control."

"I'm sure I can handle it Elijah."

Elijah "My mother was a very powerful witch, she left behind her grimours, these books can help you."

"Aren't you and Rebekah like banned from here or something?" I asked completely changing the subject.

Elijah "I apologized to my brother."

"Aw so you kissed and made up how sweet." I said in a sarcastic tone.

Elijah " Something like that."

"So where can I find these books then?"  Elijah disappeared in a flash and reappeared right in-front of me with a few very old looking books in his hands.

Elijah " Perhaps you can share them with Davina."

I smiled at him and took the books from his hands. I walked over to Davinas room and knocked on the door. She didn't answer so I walked in. She was a mess. She looked worse than what I did.

"So guess what. I'm a witch now."

Davina "Welcome to the witch club..." She joked.

"Dee I need your help and you look a mess." I walked over to her wardrobe and looked at her clothes all she had was some dresses. I grabbed one of them and threw it at her. " Go for a shower and get dressed" I said to her in a motherly tone. " And we really need to go shopping sometime." I walked downstairs and started reading threw the books. Most of it was in a different language and I didn't understand any of it. An hour went by and Davina finally came downstairs her brown hair was shiny and curly and she had a really nice white dress on. We took a couple of books each and went into the library.

Davina "You should start with something easy." She said whilst walking over to one of the shelves and grabbing a candle then placing it in-front of me. "Try and light this candle, focus on your magic inside of you."

I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate on the candle. There was a gush of wind, I opened my eyes. There were books lying all over the floor and the candle still wasn't lit. "great"

Davina "It's fine, it took me a while to get used to my powers, keep trying."

A few hours went by everything in the room was out of place. There were dozens of books lying scattered a long the floor and I still couldn't light the bloody candle. "Its no good Dee I cant even light a stupid fucking candle." I said whilst pointing to it. As I pointed my finger to the candle it lit up.

Davina " Yay you did it" She said excited.

"Great now I can light a candle." I said sarcastically.

Davina "Well we had to start somewhere."

As we went to walk out of the library Klaus came storming in and looked at the mess we had just made, well I had just made.

Klaus " What in the bloody hell has been going on in here."

I looked at him and shrugged "just some magic"

Klaus " Well these book's aren't going to just put themselves away are they?"

I sigh and start to walk towards the mess on the floor when Davina raised her arm and in the blink of an eye the books were back on the shelves.

"Dude you need to show me how to do that."

So thats it for this chapter, sorry its quite short and boring but I needed to get it out the way and sorry for any mistakes. So I have already written half of the next chapter and spoiler alert - its going to be Kieras birthday and we may or may not see some old faces ;) I will be updating very soon so till then
