Chapter 26 - Catching up

Hey guys I am so sorry for the late update I was at a wedding on Friday and I may have got a little drunk :P I just haven't been able to find the time to write but I am trying to update as soon as I can. Sorry for any grammar/spelling mistake. You should go check out Elyssa Mikaelson it is written by my best friend who has also helped me right a couple of chapters :]]

I walked into the compound surprised that Klaus wasn't straight in front of me, shouting at me for storming out on him. I went into my room and straight in the shower. I felt all gross from sleeping outside. I know never to do that again. I got changed into a pair of dark skinny jeans, a slightly oversized jumper and pulled my hair into a messy bun. I lay on my bed flicking through the channels but I couldn't find anything decent to watch. I Was never much of a TV person, what ever happened to that's so raven and good shows like that. Thanks to my hybrid hearing I could hear Sophia moving around and beginning to whimper. I VS to her room and picked her up and carried her into my room before she started to properly cry. She was getting so big and starting to look more like Hayley everyday apart from her little blonde curls. She was already sitting up by herself. I sat on my bed crossed legged with Sophia opposite me. I used my magic to lift up her toys and moved them all around her, which seemed to keep her amused. The faster I moved them the more if made her giggle. We were sitting on the bed for ages until we were interrupted by Hayley walking in. I dropped all the toys as I was startled by the sudden noise ruining my concentration.

Hayley "sorry to disturb the fun but I need to feed Sophia"

She gently picked up Sophia and sat her on her hip. "no worries" she smiled at me and walked out of my bedroom closing the door behind her. I lay down on my bed again and just stared at the ceiling lost in my own thoughts until my phone went off snapping me out of my daze. It was a text from Charlotte saying that she was bored so I invited her round for a catch up sesh.

Fifteen minutes later Charlotte arrived at the compound with a pink back containing her laptop and some junk food. We sat on my bed for a few hours eating crisps, watching videos on youtube and talking about all the stuff I missed. I missed a lot! She went on facebook and showed me all her pictures, friends, enemy's and some of her ex boyfriends. It was quite fun hearing about her normalish life.  Charlotte's mum Emily was a very powerful witch from a very powerful bloodline, she grew up in the same coven as my mum. Emily's parents were the leaders of the coven and were strict when it came to magic. My mum didn't like to be told what to do by them and ended up rebelling against them, using her magic how she wanted to not how they wanted her to use it. "so what do you want to do now?" I asked her whilst she closed her laptop. She made a hmmm noise whilst stroking her invisible beard.

Charlotte "Oh I know! there's a festival on tonight for the harvest girls, lets go to that!"

"do we have to?" I asked sounding bored. She just nodded and jumped up and down excited. "fine" I pouted and her smile grew wider. "what do I even wear to this kind of thing?" I asked her and she went to her bag and pulled out some clothes. She was planning this all along.

Charlotte "I knew you would say something like that so I brought some clothes for you" she said sounding proud of herself.

She handed me a dark blue skater skirt with a black and white Aztec style crop top. I got changed and put on my pair of dark blue converse and left my hair down natural. Charlotte came out of the bathroom wearing a light blue denim skater skirt, a white floral crop top with white converse and she had her hair in a messy ponytail.

Charlotte "So we ready then?" she asked sounding excited

"I guess so" I said, not excited at all.

Charlotte "cheer up, it will be fun"

"Come on then lets go" she squealed and grabbed my hand dragging me down the stairs and out the door. I've never seen the streets so crowded. I looked up to see Davina standing on a stage with the other harvest girls. She didn't look happy to be here. Charlotte linked her arm in mines and we went into another building where Genevieve was standing talking. I didn't bother to listen because honestly I didn't really care about what she was saying. I was snapped out my thoughts when people started to line up with gifts. I watched as the lady instructed them to ignore Davina. Charlottes face dropped. I had to do something Davina doesn't deserve this. I VS to my room and grabbed an expensive gold bracelet that I never wore and put it in a blue box a long with an extra daylight ring I made and VS back. I waited in the line, when I got to the front the lady told me to give my gift to Monique. "I'm not giving my gift to some random ass bitch" Moniques face dropped as I walked up to Davina and handed her the box. I smirked at Monique and walked away leaving her there with her mouth open. I walked back over to Charlotte when Genevieve came storming over to us.

Genevieve "Kiera what do you think you are doing?"

"Giving my friend a present got a problem with that?"

Genevieve "Davina needed to be taught a...."

I cut her off before she could finish "wow Gen I knew you were a bitch but I never knew you could be that cruel, if you even think about upsetting Davina in the slightest I will send you back to where you came from, got it?" she gulped and walked away from me.

Charlotte "wow Kiera way to scare someone"

"She deserves it, Davina has been through enough already. Lets get some drinks now" she clapped her hands excitedly and we headed for the open bar. A few drinks later and we were in the middle of the dance floor dancing away having a good time, when some men wearing white suits came down the stairs banging on the drums they were carrying. The man at the front said he had a message from Marcel Gerard. Oh great whats Marcel done now, I thought to myself. All the men cut their wrists then the lights went out. I felt a huge sharp pain go through my body as I fell to the ground screaming in pain. I could head Klaus shouting on me. When the lights went back on Charlotte was no where to be found and then darkness took over.

Charlottes P.O.V

When the lights went off I seen the perfect opportunity and took it. No one would suspect a thing. Before the lights went on I ran out of the building throwing any vampires that got in my way. I didn't stop running till I got back to my house. I felt terrible but it had to be done. I walked into my house to see my mum pacing back and forth.

Emily "Charlotte is it done?"

I looked down at my feet ashamed "yes mum, it is done"

Emily "good now for step two"
