Abigail in paradise

Your POV

I followed Cornelia down the stairs. I yawned and looked around. Before we went to the door, Cornelia stopped and looked at Abigail, who was busy talking to herself.
"Hey Abster!" Cornelia called out loudly.
Abigail jumped and turned to us. "Cornelia! (Y/n)! You startled me!"
Cornelia grinned and held her thumb up. Before she could say something I covered her mouth.
"We're going out to see if we can find a shark!" I said. "Wanna join?"
"A.... shark...?" Abigail said.
"Yep! There are rumours that there's- eew! Did you just lick my hand?!" I pulled my hand away from Cornelia's mouth. "Ugh.. you're disgusting.. in any case. People say that there's a shark somewhere around here."
"And we're going to find it!" Cornelia added.
"Um... good luck?" Abigail said unsurely.
"Thanks! Wait, are you not joining?" I asked.
"No.. um.. I have stuff to do." She replied.
"Oh.."
"What stufffffff?" Cornelia asked her.
"J-just stuff!" Abigail said nervously.
I narrowed my eyes. "Which is?"
"U...um.... I ... I have.. I have to .. feet my hamster!" She exclaimed and sped passed us through the door. She tripped outside and fell over, then got up and continued running.
I blinked and looked at Cornelia, who shrugged.
"Let's just go find that shark." She said.

Abigail POV

I panted and stopped running. That was close... I thought and looked over my shoulder. I took a deep breath and continued walking. I tried to calm myself down. I can do this. I just know it! Don't screw this over Abigail!
I reached the biggest pool in the resort and stopped walking. I glanced around nervously. Where is he..? I thought. It's today right? Am I just to late? Or... what if he isn't coming?
"Abigail!" I heard someone call my name and turned around. A smile formed on my lips seeing the one and only Leo running towards me. He stopped in front of me and caught his breath before looking at me.
"I'm not late am I?" He asked worriedly.
"Hm....." I looked at my invisible watch. "You're just on time."
"See that's why I asked you out. You're the best." Leo said, making me blush slightly.
"Aw don't say that." I said and shuffled back a little.
"It's true," Leo said. "Now.... let's get going!"
We started walking, side by side, hand in hand.

I finished my spaghetti and looked at Leo, who finished his mini pizza.
"You okay?" I asked, noticing him tear up.
"I... I..." Leo started, "I finished eating my pizza!"
"Um..."
"It was too beautiful for this world! But I want it back!"
"Um.. Leo.."
"It's beautiful red sauce, amazing toppings, all...."
"W-"
"It's all gone!"
"We could just order another one.." I said.
"Nah I'm full, let's go!" Leo got up.
I chuckled and did the same.

Your POV

"Agent Cornelia, any clues? Over." I said.
"No agent (y/n). None. Over."
"Alright, keep searching over."

Abigail's POV

"Let's see... We could go to that slide... Or that slide.. " I mumbled and pointed at the two slides.
" We could do both" Leo commented.
"But look at that liiiiiiiine" I said. "They're enormous! It's as if the whole paradise split in two and went to the slides."
"Well we could go to the smaller ones." Leo said and looked at a smaller slide behind us.
"I want to do a big one though."
"Hey Abigail!" Aphmau, who just came up to us, greeted.
"Oh hi Aphmau. Aaaaaand Aaron?" I guessed.
"Yo" Aaron said and waved slightly.
"Oooooh is this your boyfriend Abigail?" Aphmau asked and looked at Leo.
I blushed deeply and shook my head. "N-no! We're just on a-"
Leo put his arm around me. "Yep! I'm her boyfriend." He said and smiled brightly. "My name is Leo."
"Well nice to meet you Leo, my name is Aphmau and this is-"
"Her boyfriend Aaron." Aaron put his arm around her shoulder, making her blush as much as I was.
Oh Irene this can't be good.... I thought while glancing at the two boys who were creepily smiling at each other. I looked at Aphmau and I could tell she was thinking the same.

And this is the end of this chapter! It was a small one and it has nothing to do with the story itself but since I'm going through the exams right now and I'm having a huge writers block (again). Well you know what I mean. I just wanted to give you something so I made this.

"Well... this is not what I expected..." I said while staring in front of me.
"Neither..." Cornelia said. "We just spend the whole day searching for a shark AND WHAT DO WE FIND?!"
"A few balloon sharks." I said, still staring at the large shark-shaped balloons in front of us.
"This is disappointing..." Cornelia mumbled.
"I want one."
"Me too."

"Hahaha! Soon I will be ruling over two dimensions instead of two kingdoms! Prepare for-"
You're in the wrong book, you know that right?
"I am? Oh! I am.... well.... this is awkward.. I'll uh.. I'll just take my leave then..."
*narrows eyes*
