Your POV

I blinked and looked at Abigail who watched Leo go with a red face.
"Did he just..?"
"He... Kissed... Me..." Abigail said before I could finish my question.
She jumped up and down. "Kya!! (Y/n)!! He kissed me!"
"Wow, Abster calm down. It was a kiss on the cheek. Nothing to be so worked up about." I told her but she didn't listen.
"He kissed me!" Abigail repeated. "I can't believe it!"
"Isn't it possible for him to like you? Why are you that surprised, you're a pretty nice person."I said.
"Oh I wouldn't know, maybe because... He has a girlfriend!" She pointed to where he had gone into.
I turned back to him and blinked seeing an orange haired girl. She had a dark tan, a fox tail and ears.
"A fox girl? So what if she's his friend? That doesn't mean their a couple." I said.
"They are holding hands. Holding hands (y/n)!" Abigail exclaimed.
I softly shook my head and looked at her, "you think about this way too much." I said and started walking "I going back."
"Ah! (Y/n) wait!" Abigail hurried after me.

I reached the house and stopped walking to wait for Abigail, who was still trying to catch up to me.
"Don't... Ever... Run... Off like... That.. again.." Abigail said.
"I was literally walking Abi. Not even fast." I told her. "You can't compare it to running."
"Well you did start walking before I did. So of course you are quicker." She said and crossed her arms.
"That... Okay no just no." I turned around and went to the door but Abigail jumped in front of me and blocked my path.
"Uh..." What are you doing?" I asked.
"Oh nothing... Just um.. leaning against the door for a bit." She said and nervously smiled at me.
I blinked and shook my head. "You are not doing this to me right now. Can't you lean on the door after I came in?"
"Uh... No?" She tried.
"Hah. Nice try" I said and walked to her.
"No! I won't let you pass so easily!" Abigail said and raised her fist.
I grabbed her sides and started tickling her. Abigail snorted and dropped herself on the ground.
"Thank you" I said before rolling her away from the door. I opened the door and stepped in.
I glanced around and as soon as someone caught my eye I stepped back outside. After that I closed the door. Abigail sat up and looked at me in confusion. I looked back at her and rubbed my eyes before turning back to the door. I opened it again and looked inside. After that I closed it again.
"(Y/n), are you okay?" Abigail asked.
"I think I just saw a ghost" I said and opened the door again.
"I can assure you I am not a ghost" Max said. He was now standing right in front of the door with a big goofy smile. I stayed still for a few moments before jumping into his arms.
"Max! I missed you so so much!" I exclaimed and hugged him tightly.
"(Y/n) I missed you too.. But.. Air.. Can't.. Breathe" Max huffed.
"Oh yeah, sorry!" I said before letting him go. "What are you doing here? I thought you were in England to meet the queen or something."
"(Y/n). Never heard of sarcasm?" Max asked and raised an eyebrow.

Flashback

"Hey Max!" I shouted through the phone.
"Hey (y/n). Loud as ever I see?" Max replied.
"Nah, I'm just tired" I giggled.
"You sure don't sound like that."
"Cornelia brought me twenty bags of (insert favourite candy). Of course I don't sound tired."
"Hm... Of course..." Max mumbled.
"Anyways, where are you? Back in Ireland to visit your parents?" I asked "you visit those two way too much."
"Haha! Yeah right. But no, I'm in England." He replied.
"England? Are you going to meet the queen or something?"
"What? The.. Right sure.." Max said.

Flashback end

"Oh right... But what are you doing here?" I asked.
"Well, someone send me a ticket and demanded me I had to come" Max replied and glanced over his shoulder.
I looked around him at Cornelia and Katie.
"You guys..." I mumbled and cracked a smile. "You guys planned this for me didn't you?"
"Maybe... Yes! Of course we did! And we made sure Tom and Munto would not show their faces while we're here!" Cornelia said grinning.
"You..."
"Anything for our friend" Katie said.
"Oh.. You guys are really.. Amazing!" I said and then stopped for a moment.
"Is something like... Wrong?" Katie asked.
"No, it's just..." I looked down. "Aphmau and the others.."
"Oh Irene... Please don't tell me it's true.." Cornelia huffed "are you still thinking about them? Just.. Forget about those... Those... Them!"
I sighed and looked at her "but.. They did their best to apologise to me..." I stepped back a little. "And I straight out ignored them!"
Everyone stayed quiet, even Cornelia, and stared at me for a few moments until I started talking again.
"I can't believe I'm such a bad friend.." I mumbled.
"(Y/n) (n/n) (l/n)! You are not a bad friend" Max told me.
"No. I.. I totally am.. I.." I covered my face with my hands for a moment before looking up.
"I have to find them" I said "I have to accept their apology."
"But they hurt you so badly" Abigail said from behind me.
"What if they hurt you again?" Cornelia asked.
"Then.. Then I know that they aren't good friends at all.. But.. No, I have to find them." I said and turned to the door. I brushed passed Abigail and left.

Max POV

I watched (y/n) run off and blinked.
"So..." Cornelia started. "What's the difference between a piano, a tuna fish and a tube of glue?"
Abigail and Katie quickly went to the stairs, I decided to follow her.
"Hey guys! That joke is hilarious! Come baaaaack!" Cornelia called after us before following.
