Fireworks and Apologies

Your POV

I looked in the mirror and took a deep breath. I looked at my (h/c) hair that was still a bit damp from showering but in my opinion, it looked good enough and it would probably be dry by the time I got to Aphmau 's house. My gaze lowered to my clothes. I wanted to wear a dress at first but I knew I wouldn't be very comfortable, so I was wearing a simple (f/c) tank top and a short. After telling myself that everything would be alright, I left my room and went down the stairs.
I was about to leave when I noticed a figure sitting on the couch. I froze and looked at it. Since it was already dark, I couldn't see who it was yet. But I could tell the figure was male. I carefully made my way over to the light switch. On my way, I picked up a flower pot. After only a few moments, which felt like hours, I reached the switch and quickly turned the lights on.
Just as I did so, the person got up. I was so surprised by his sudden movement, I threw to flower pot at his head. The person quickly ducked, making the flower pot fly against the wall instead. It broke and dropped on the ground. The person, who I now was certain of was male, looked at me.
"Really?" He huffed.
The boy had short grey-blue hair and dark blue eyes. I finally recognised him.

Take a guess

"Tom?!" I said and growled "what do you want now?"
Tom looked at me for a moment. "You're beautiful.." he said.
I couldn't help but blush from his sudden complement. Knowing this was what he wanted, I shook my head and glared at my ex.
"Did you just seriously break into my house?" I huffed.
"Well the front door wasn't locked so.." he said, I mentally face palmed, "I would've knocked."
"Them why are you just sitting here in the darkness?!" I spat. "Ugh, you know what? I don't even care. Get out, now."
Tom walked over. "Please hear me out first.."
"No! You already did bad.." I said and turned my head away.
I couldn't stand him. He ruined everything for me. Almost everything.
"You must understand I did all of that because-" he started.
"You're an idiot? Don't you follow the news? I already know that" I said and crossed my arms.
He suddenly pulled me into a hug. I flinched and quickly tried to pull away. "Let me go!"
But Tom didn't let go of me yet.
"(Y/n)... what I did to you in high school was unforgivable. I know that. I ruined your senior year for you and almost ruined your career as a singer as well.. when I left Mystica Falls high I realised how much I loved you. How badly I needed you in my life." Tom said, he talked softly, as if he wanted me to keep this a secret. "You were on my mind... always.."
"And you expect me to be your girlfriend after this? Really?" I muttered.
"No." Tom pulled out of the hug, "I only want you to forgive me...."
"Forgive you? You ruined my friendship with Aphmau, Katelyn and the others. You were the reason I got bullied..." I said.
"Please (y/n)... forgive me. That's all I'm asking.." Tom said.
I looked down.

You forgive him:

After a moment I looked at him again and nodded. "Alright. I forgive you." I said.
"Really? Thank you so so much!" Tom squeaked and hugged me again.
It took a moment before he pulled away again. I looked at the boy again.
"But you need to stop following me." I said. "You're like a stalker."
Tom only smiled and nodded. "I will. But.. Does this mean we can.."
"No. No no no." I quickly said. "no romance between us."
Tom blinked and nodded again. "I understand.. Thank you though, (y/n)" he said, still with a hint of disappointment in his voice.

You don't forgive him:

I sighed softly and shook my head. "No Tom. I can't forgive you." I said.
The boy frowned and looked at me. "But I -" he started.
"No Tom. I don't want any more of this. I am sick and tired of giving second chances... And I've given you a lot more than that, haven't I?" I said and looked at him.
Tom stayed quiet for a moment and sighed.
"you're right... I did the wrong thing... But forgiveness is all I'm asking for.." He said, or rather; begged.
I shook my head.
"You have my answer now Tom." I said and pointed at the door. "Leave. Please."
Tom looked at the door then back at me with disbelief and quilt all over his face.
"A-a right.." he stammered and went to the door.
I watched him go and felt a little sad for him. I couldn't help it. Maybe I should have forgiven him. It wouldn't hurt... I shook my head. No, he did this to me too and even worse. This is what he deserves.

I walked out of the house and glanced around before making my way to Aphmau 's place. I suddenly remembered how my time on Love Love Paradise was almost over. If I chose someone now, I might even never see them again. I looked down and sighed deeply.
I should tell them that.

There should be a few more coming. The next one..... Might be a little shorter. Because of course, it'll be the confession, which I will put into different chapters.
