Your POV

"The first match! Team Aphmau versussss team Thomas!" Guy exclaimed through the microphone. "Come to the field in five minutes!"
"Okay. This is the plan. (y/n)..." Aphmau said. "You go, head straight in there."
"Why me?!" I exclaimed.
"That's an order! We'll be right on your tail." Aphmau said.
"I suggest (y/n) to come up with something." Lucinda said.
I sighed deeply and looked at the other side of the field. "Okay.. I know what we have to do."

"Welcome everyone! My name is Guy! The guy-de of the island. Hahaha! Alright. The rules are simple. Nobody uses weapons, you can't step over the line and.... That's it. Good luck!" Guy said.
"So many rules.." I commented sarcastically.
"I'm going to need a pen to write that in my hand." Lucinda said.
"Come on guys! We gotta get serious here" Aphmau said.
We turned to face out opponents.
"Okay.. Let's do this. Stick with the plan." I said.
"Alright! Get your flags ready!" Guy exclaimed.
We tied the flag/ropes around our waists.
"Get ready..."
The three of us got ready.
"Get set... Go!"
Aphmau and I ran to the side of the field. Lucinda stayed where she was.
The three guys ran towards her but stopped when they noticed we ran away. Lucinda let out a whine.
"aaah~ it's so hot!" She whined.
I looked and Aphmau when I stopped next to the line. I saw she had stopped as well.
"You guys don't mind while I.. Take off a layer of my clothes.. Right?"
The three guys blushed and watched her raise her shirt slightly. Of course Lucinda was wearing a normal bikini under her shirt.
"Now!" I exclaimed, signing Aphmau to start running.
We both ran back to the middle of the field where the three guys were standing, staring at Lucinda.
Aphmau grabbed the flag from the guy closest to her and I grabbed the flag from the other one. Before I could ran to the last guy, he turned to face us.
That much for being fast.. I thought and stepped back.
Aphmau glanced at me. "What do we do?" she breathed.
"I don't know.." I replied softly.
The guy stepped towards us, he was even bigger from close by.
I swallowed. "Um... Look! There's a puppy!" I said and pointed over his shoulder. He didn't turn. "A kitten?" he didn't move. "uh.. A pizza sale?"
Aphmau stepped back. "It's not helping.." She said.
"There's a shampoo sale over there!" I exclaimed.
The guy blinked and turned. Aphmau stepped forwards and grabbed the flag. She pulled it off of his waist and jumped back.
"Looks like we have our winner!" Guy exclaimed through the microphone.
The guy turned back to us and noticed his flag was gone.
"Team Aphmau wins!"
Aphmau and I smiled brightly. We both jumped and gave each other a high five. I looked at Lucinda, who was slowly clapping.
"Lucinda! We did it!" I called out to her.
"Great. Can I leave now?"

The next game was the boys versus a team of two boys and one girl. Garroth was the first one to loose his flag, then Laurance took revenge and managed to grab the flag of the girl. His flag, however, got taken by one of the boys.
I watched intensely while eating popcorn. Dante was running away from the two boys.
"There's no way he's going to win" Lucinda said.
Just then Dante tripped and fell over, the two guys tripped over him and both faceplanted on the ground. Dante, who already recovered, quickly jumped up and grabbed their flags.
"Oh hey would you look at that.." I said. "Someone jinxed it!"
"Well I'm sorry" Lucinda said and crossed her arms.
"The winner is team Garroth. Next up are team Lucy and team Hannah!" Guy said.
I sighed deeply. "I'm going back to those two mystery friends of mine. Our next match is only tomorrow so.." I said.
"Alright then! Careful on your way back." Aphmau said.
"Bye." Lucinda said.
"Bye!" I waved slightly and walked off.

I sighed deeply. I have a bad feeling about this competition... I thought while walking. Suddenly a random banana peel appeared out of nowhere in front of me. Of course I never noticed and stepped on it. A second later I slipped backwards, I yelped in surprise and closed my eyes, embracing myself for the fall. But then something soft caught me.
"Are you okay?" A soothing, yet heavy, voice asked.
I opened my eyes and tilted my head to see my saviour. "Z-Zane?" (I saw someone shipped (y/n) and Zane so why not have more Zane moments)
"I believe so, yes." Zane said.
I quickly straightened and stepped back. "T-thanks for catching me.." I stammered.
"It's alright." Zane said. "You sorta fell in my arms since I was walking to you."
I grinned and scratched the back of my neck. "Hehe... oh and, cute swimming trunks." I said and glanced at his pink swimming trunks, with rainbows on them.
Zane blushed in embarrassment. "Hey! It's not like I like them or anything!"
I chuckled. "Sure mister tsundere." I mocked.
Zane growled and looked down. "Meany.."
"Heh, so is there anything you wanted?" I asked.
Zane looked at me again. "Huh?"
"Well, you said you were walking to me when I fell." I stated.
"Oh.. yeah.. um.." Zane stammered.
I tilted my head slightly.
"U-um... are... you free? T-this Tuesday?" He eventually asked.
I thought for a moment. "Um.. I think so. Unless one of my friends drags me out somewhere." I replied.
"T-then if you are... Would you like to do something?" Zane asked. "With... with me of course."
"Of course!" I said and smiled at him "I'd love to!"
"G-great! Then it's a date!" Zane said happily.
"Yeah! It's a date!" I said.
Zane smiled slightly and walked away. I watched him go and waved. Eventually I turned and started walking. Then I stopped.
"W.. Hold on.. a.. a date?!"
