Bonding II: Safe Haven

It's been a while hasn't it? Wonder what you've all been up to, but probably not as much as you are wondering what i and Rose Mela have been up to. You are right though, you are right to wonder because that's all i can give you. Thoughts of possibilities of what became of us, I'll let you in on key things that have happened, though you probably won't stop scrolling.

It's been months since we went on that date, months since we kissed, oh and months since we last spoke. Yeah, we stopped talking, and i know you are probably thinking 'What in hell happened?' I suggest you keep reading to find out.

Rose Mela : Psst
Kosa : lol hey, what's up
Rose Mela : What are you doing?
Kosa : Just finishing up some assignments. Why?
Rose Mela : Come watch a movie with me later?😊
Kosa : Sure, when?And what movie?
Rose Mela : In an hour go to the cinema at the mall, we'll meet up there, the movie is a surprise😉
Kosa : lol okay, can't wait

i drop my phone, and stare at the netbeans IDE still open for continued use. You can only imagine the broad smile across my face, the joy within my soul that i get to spend time with her again. The assignment can wait. I turn off my system, i know i have time but at least i should take a shower and freshen up in time.

i finally make it to the 3rd floor to see Rose Mela waiting for me beside the number three theatre door. She's wearing a black sweatshirt, faded grey skinny jeans and black Stan smith's on her feet. Beautiful when dressed and pretty when casual, that's Mela for you.

"Hey, sorry i'm late"

She puts her arms around my neck and gives me a very tight hug, It seems i'm growing because she's stretching to do so. 

Heavens, she's so warm.

"it's fine, i kinda just got here." she says as she lets go of me. "Here's your ticket"

She bought my ticket? Does she know how this goes? The guy(me) ought to be the one spending the money. oh well..

"Thanks, so what are we watching?" i ask as i look at my ticket searching for my answer while Rose Mela bought the popcorn.

"I think you bought the wrong movie tickets"

"No i didn't"

"Mine says 'The Conjuring 2'. Is that right?"

Rose Mela gives me a Mona Lisa look.

"What!? You know i don't do well with horror movies!"

"Don't worry, it'll be fun trust me" she says as she pulls me by my hand into the theatre.

The movie has been playing for forty minutes now but i haven't looked at it without obstructing my view for more than ten. Whenever a scary part comes on, i close my eyes and squeeze unto Rose Mela's palm while listening to screams in the movie and the laughter of the female who forced me to come in here.

"You're such a girl. If its that scary you can use the comfort of my skin as your pillow" she whispers with an evil smirk look.

"Ah ha! So that was your plan all along aye? You can't rape me so this is the diabolical plan you came up with?"

"Maayybe, Its up to you to reject the invitation into this safe haven"

I close my eyes again.

"Aww they are so cute together"

"huh?" i open my eyes to see the scene Mela just called cute.

"No! no! no... you made me look you evil evil person" i say sobbing and softly punching Mela's knee cap."
