( Wentworth's )

Its already late. We arrived home silently and i was observing her through her damn pretty face and i cant hide my amusement into her although i know how scared she was.

I managed to catch her arm and stopped her from stepping in the staircase in.

"Wha-"
I pulled her for a hug that definitely shook her a bit.

After a few round of minutes, i feel her hugging me back, putting her face into my chest silently sobbing.

"Ill never let them hurt you, baby." I cupped her cheeks up while whispering her my words. I saw single line of tears in her cheeks.

I saw her nodded, trying to block the fear expressed in her face.

"Dont cry." I kissed the tip of her nose then she smiled.

Then, she took my hands away from her arms, walking away.

"Acid." I called.

She stopped at the middle part of the stairway, and she turned back to see me, showing her smile, fake smile though, into me.

"Im not afraid for myself." She wiped her tears away.

"Im afraid for you and your family. Goddamn, its making me sick. Im afraid, they'll hit on your kids." She said as she went on running into her room.

I definitely remained expressionless and speechless.

I want to go next to her, but i think she needs to cry everything out.

I deeply sighed before getting in my own room.

But then, i went out again after i heard a huge knocks from our exit door at the back part of our home. I mean its not purposely a knock indeed, but ...

Its a weird knock.

I run immediately downstairs but keep the steps safely unheard upon getting near the door with a gun and keen eyes while observing around.

Then i heard a fast sudden escape run behind the door getting away from my residence' territory.

I tried peaking at the nearby window but i just saw nothing. Until, i find a paper below the floor, showing a half of it inside the door.

I picked it up silently and turned on a lamp nearby and tried investigating it.

But it was just a directional pattern of Santa Fe's land. I keep it up and went in my room silently.

Its been days since ive been hearing and feeling soneone observing us from afar. It was weird, yet scary but i need to focus on getting the kids safe. Anf also Acid's.

I opened a diary in my table and started reading again.

Its been a week since i am quietly investigating about who might holding Median's life until it happened that she got killed. Its not even helping, you know. It was just taking the criminal away from me.

Dra. Median know the truth. She basically know everything. But she was killed.

And sending her Acid was the fire in causing her life's explosion.

Unfortunately, it became a wrong move.

I put my hands in my face in frustration.

I need ideas. Everything was a mess.

Thinking too hard knocked me off to sleep. I didnt feel that. Until i heard a loud bell sound coming from downstairs.

It was already morning, so i stand up and run down and check on the disturbants outside of my door.

Fuck. It is just 6:29am.

Another fuck. It was a group of sheriffs.

I opened the door as they show me a piece of a paper, a search of warrant about Acid Sacramento that definitely stopped me from breathing normally.

I was just about to tell them, she weren't around but they already walked in and definitely search for her around.

I want to stopped them but then i feel a hand in my shoulder.

"Release her, pleade." McGrey said.

"Im not releasing anyone." I push his hand away and started walking away.

"This wont be a big help, Miller. You need to keep your hands with me. I can hel-"

"You can't do that! You even hated Jacob last time right?" I almost shouted at him.

He remained speechless .. And surprised.

"I know." I saw him swallowed in. "I know that. But i just want to help. I mean, Acid needs ideas."

"Sorry. But the kid know what she needs to know." I said as i turned away, seeing the sheriffs getting down out of the stairs.

"Cleared surface, Lieutenant. The target wasn't found." The one said that definitely surprised me too.

And where is she then?

"Okay. Lets go then." Eros just said and let them out as he looked at me seriously.

"Get out now." I said coldly.

"Miller, you need to help me finding her. She's on the hunt right?" He asked.

"Bullshit. Could you just stop? Im not sending her to yo-"

"Wentworth, one of the cobras of the city is in the jail. Tom Geanua knows something about him and might his case." He said that definitely made me look at him.

"And you are feeding a baby into that monster? Are you sick? Tom can kill her!" I exclaimed.

He shook his head. "But i know Acid very well. She is not a baby, a fragile girl or anything weak you can call her." He said.

I looked at him.

"Nathaniel Santiago confessed things into him before he met his bad fate." He continued.

"Just tell me what was it." I said, trying to calm myself.

"Nathaniel knows who is the frame-uper." He said lowly that shocked me.

I swallowed in looking at his eyes.

I want to kill this man but i think, i need to believe him right now.

Eros McGrey never lied to me.

"Come on, Miller. Im not here to disturb you but to help you and the kid. I know ive been bad to Jacob, but remember i have a daughter too. She became my life, and i dont want her to suffer something like what Acid is suffering right now." He explained.

"What do you want me to do?" I deeply breathed.

"Please help us find her. Ill help her get out of the jail soon for you. Just let her enter the jail and talk to Tom." He said.

"Fine." I said.

"Thank you." He faked a smile as he went out silently

Tom Geanua. That was a very dangerous criminal. But i know, he know a lot of drug negotiants, illegal firearms holder and a lot of frustrated murderers. He already confessed last time.

He might can help. But he might be a dangerous being too
