Trigger warning. Mentions of suicide.
"No No No! I have been dealing with this for almost a year yet you still couldn't find the bastards! I will not close this case! He took something from me that I cannot get back and you say to let it go?!
Do have any idea how that makes me feel. Make a fucking teenager feel?!" Iwazumi heard you yell from the other room. The teen had never heard you so angry before. The only thing that got you relatively mad was when Oikawa took your laptop and messed up your shows on Netflix. But this was something more serious. About a year ago, the house where you and your parents lived was broken into by three burglars. Your father and brother had been downstairs at the time and tried to fight the three but didn't succeed. You and your mother hid upstairs and called the police when you heard yelling. When the police showed up, they pronounced your father and brother dead. About a month later your mother fell victim to grief and committed suicide. Since then you moved in with Iwazumi as he wanted to take care of you to make sure you were alright. He had dealt with your break downs plenty of times but this was new. "I swear! How would you feel if your family was taken away from you and the police just decide to close the goddamn case?! It's only been 11 months since this happened! Fucking step up to this responsibility and help me!" After a few more explicit words you hung up and loudly shouted. Iwazumi made his way into your shared room and started rubbing your back. Breathing heavily and crying out of anger, you just sat there and let the warmth of his hand soothe you down to the point of sobbing. He hugged you and started whispering sweet nothings into your ear. "Everything is gonna work out. We'll find the culprits and bring justice. It's gonna be okay." And I'm that moment, you felt like everything was going to be alright. So you held on to that feeling.----
This is probably shit right? Yes? Maybe? Idk
