Getting into fights was always draining. Especially with the one you loved. You and your husband, Daichi Sawamura, rarely got into it. You both understood each other well and when you didn't, you calmly asked them to explain until you did. There were times, however, when things just got to the point of yelling and out-of-control emotions. The both of you yelling was a force to be reckoned with.

The current fight started a week ago. Little things had been building up day by day and it had just reached its breaking point before you left to meet up with some old friends from high school. The both of you had been really stressed from work and barely had any time with each other anymore.

"Okay, love, I get it. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." You said with tears of frustration and sadness in your eyes as you walked out the door. The few hours you were gone, you managed to clear your head and any trace of anger that was residing within you. You took your time walking home thinking of everything that has happened and could happen. You hated the feeling of feeling hesitant when seeing him. He was your everything. He was the reason you woke up in the morning. He was the reason you work hard at that shitty 9-5 job. You were your best because of him yet all the while he makes you feel strong and independent.

Being lost in your head, your breath catches in your throat once you realized you're at the door of the apartment the two of you shared. Inhaling deeply, you unlock the door and walk in. At the sound of the lock, Daichi emerges from the kitchen, wiping his hands on a tea towel.

"Hey, (Y/n), where- where were you?" He asks, with an almost relieved look on his face.

"I was out with  some old friends." You say softly, feeling as if a volume any louder would disrupt everything.

"Look, I'm sorry about yelling earlier. We're both stressed and overworked and I was being unreasonable. When you walked through that door 3  hours ago, I thought you were gonna leave me. I thought you were sick of fighting and you didn't wanna come back." He said, forlornly.

The moment those words registered in, your heart shattered. He looked so shaken and torn. It looked completely wrong and out of place.

"Oh Daichi, I'd never leave you!" You took a small step forward. "I love you too much to do that. I left because I was overwhelmed and I didn't want to make the situation worse than it already was." Another small step. "We're married. I married you knowing that there would be hard times we had to go through. My love for you is too strong to let some mediocre fight make me leave. I love you, Daichi and I'm sorry." You explained intently, your hands holding his face.

"I'm sorry too. I love you too." He responds leaning in and placing a sweet kiss on your lips. Sliding your arms around his shoulders, you settle into his embrace. He pulled away and looks to you with a smile.

"I cooked." He says.

"It smells good." You smile.

"You want some?" He asks, rubbing you back.

"I'd love some." You smile and kiss him once more.

How could you ever leave this man?
