Chapter 6

Lucas's POV(WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE IS THE MEDIA)
Natalie and I went downstairs and she grabbed some cereal out and poured us some. "I really missed this place. Did you and dad ever make up?" I asked taking a bite of cereal. "Yeah, a couple weeks after you left I accepted his apology. I missed you a lot when you left." She explained. "Yeah I would have been here sooner, but I got held back a couple weeks because this guy that used to be there got in a fight with me." I told her scoffing slightly. That dude would be dead if I ever saw him again. 

Natalie's POV
I got up and washed me and Lucas's dishes and grabbed my bag from the chair. "You ready Luke!" I shouted. "Yeah!" He shouted back running downstairs. I grabbed my keys and walked out the front door and had Luke lock it. I jumped into the driver seat and Luke got into the passenger seat. I put my bag in the back seat and started to school. Luke turned the radio and switched to a station that had "I Wanna Go" on. He let the song play, but didn't seem to pay attention to it. "Hey why aren't you singing along? This is our favorite song." I asked continuing to look at the road. "Just thinking about that guy Aaron you were talking about. I haven't seen him yet so I'll need to know who he is." He joked. I laughed and smiled. "If there is anyone you need to worry about, it's Gene. Remember that little freak." I said with a smirk. "Oh yeah, the one who tried to get me to join the Shadow Knights. Ugh how have you been dealing with him liking you?" He asked. I scoffed and rolled my eyes. "Gave him a bloody nose the other day." I said. I pulled into the parking lot and noticed Aaron's black sports car. I sighed and let my head fall back. "Hey it'll be fine okay." Luke reassured me. I opened the car door and got out. Luke jogged over to me and put an arm around my shoulders. I laughed and put and arm around his waist. We walked into school and everyone seemed to stop what they were doing to look at us. I blushed in embarrassment and we walked to my locker. I opened it and grabbed a textbook and stuffed it in my bag. I looked down the hall and noticed Ivy and Lilly strut down. She stopped in front of Lucas and gave him a flirtatious wink. "I see you're new here. I'm Ivy, the cutest girl in school. If you wouldn't mind dumping this trashy hoe of a girlfriend to date me I would totally date you." I gave her a harsh glare. "Actually this trashy hoe is my twin sister Ivy. If you don't remember I'm the guy you rejected freshmen year because I was a nerd and ugly. You know LUCAS!" He shouted. I tried to hold my laughter as Ivy shut her mouth quickly. "I...I..." She stuttered. I couldn't hold it and laughed. "AHHHHH!" She screeched before storming off with Lilly following her. I turned around to face Luke and noticed Aaron behind him. I froze and my eyes went wide. "What?" Luke asked turning around. "Wait a minute that's the guy that made me get held back. Is that Aaron?" He demanded. I could feel the anger radiating off him. "It is. First he gets me held back and then he breaks my sister's heart." He said. He turned to go up to Aaron. "Luke...I broke his heart." I said, my voice faltering. "Still he got me held back." He snarled walking up to Aaron. I followed and tried to tug him back towards me, but he shook me off. Aaron froze at the sight of Luke. "What the hell do you think you're doing kissing my sister. You get me held back and then have your rich parents take you out. Coward!" He shouted shoving Aaron. Aaron looked at me and I just looked at the ground. "Luke let's just go." I muttered. Luke threw the first punch and Aaron held his jaw and cracked his knuckles. "Lucas Edward Junakin!" I shouted. Luke looked at me and sorrow filled his face. "Sorry." He apologized to Aaron before shoving past me and walking out of the hallway. "Nat-" Aaron started, but I ignored it. I didn't want to deal with him right now. I needed to help Luke. I found him sitting against the wall. "Hey what happened back there?" I asked sitting next to him. "I don't know. Just the fact that he has made you this sad makes me angry. I mean I'm your brother. I have to protect you." He said sighing. "Hey I'm sure I hurt him more than he hurt me, plus I've gone this far by protecting myself. I think I can manage without you constantly trying to beat someone up for me." I explained grabbing his hand. He smiled and brought me into a hug. "Awe what happened between you and Aaron? He break you're heart, I can't believe you found another boyfriend this quickly you whore." Gene said. My blood boiled, but I could feel the anger radiating from Luke. "What did you just say about my sister?" Luke asked angrily standing up towering over Gene. I got up and smirked waiting for Luke to beat him up. "Umm..." Gene stammered. Luke gave one quick punch to his face and stomach and Gene fell to the ground and Luke smiled. "Come on let's get to class."

*TIME SKIP*

I walked into werewolf class and looked at Aaron sitting by himself. I sat next to him and Luke sat in the desk next to me. Aaron didn't once talk to me. He didn't ask for help, he just took unneeded notes. I smirked at the paper he wrote on and continued to listen to the professor. The bell rang and I got up quickly, but someone grabbed my wrist. I looked back and noticed that it wasn't Aaron, it was Balto. "Hey." He said rubbing the back of his neck. "What do you want?" I asked as Luke walked over to me and out his arm around my shoulders again. "I wanted to apologize for my actions towards you earlier this year." He said looking guilty. "Okay you're forgiven, but don't think we are friends or even something as a couple. That ship sailed a long time ago and it won't ever happen again." I said walking away with Luke. I was tugged aside by Katelyn. "Jesus Katelyn." I said. "I'll meet you at the car in a little." I said to Luke. He nodded and walked away. "Who is that?" She demanded. "IS HE YOUR BOYFRIEND?!" She shouted. "Jeez Katelyn quiet and no he's my twin brother." I said. "Good because I would have to beat him up." She said. I shook my head at her and felt a presence pass me. I looked and found Aaron with his head down walking away. I needed to end this once and for all. I tapped on Aaron's shoulder and he turned around surprised to see me. "What do you want?" He asked harshly. "I wanted to apologize, you just kissed me and I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to lose you as a friend." I finished looking down. He hugged me and I hugged back. "You're forgiven." He said giving me a small smile.
