Chapter 7

Aaron's POV
I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and found Natalie behind me. "What do you want?" I asked angrily. It was unneeded, but I was just upset. "I wanted to apologize, you just kissed me and I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to lose you as a friend." She said looking down at the ground. I wrapped my arms around her and she did too. "You're forgiven." I said with a small smile. She released me and caught up with her brother. So I guess that's the guy I got into a fight with. I shook my head and stuffed my hands in my pockets. "Hey Aaron." Lilly greeted. "Hey Lilly." I replied. She blabbed her mouth off to me, but I ignored it and stayed silent. She acted as if we were best friends, I mean I didn't mind, but I'd rather talk to Natalie. 

Natalie's POV
I got out of the car and so did Lucas. We walked into the house and he hugged me out of no where. "I'm so glad you made up with him." He said. I rolled my eyes and gave him a small smile. "Whatever Lucas. What do you want for dinner tonight?" I asked. "How about I order pizza?" He asked. I nodded and walked upstairs, but stopped halfway when there was a knock on the door. I walked back downstairs and opened the door. "Aaron, what are you doing here?" I asked silently. "I wanted to know if you would want to go to the mall with me tomorrow noon-ish?" He asked. "Yeah sounds fun. Wanna stay for dinner, me and my brother are ordering a pizza?" I asked. He smiled and rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "Sure, thanks." He said walking inside. Lucas got up from the couch and came to my side. "You are so lucky that you and my sister made up." He said through a forced grin. I slapped the back of his head and he grabbed it. "Hey what did I do?" He asked. "Don't be rude Luke." I said. I grabbed Aaron's hand and brought him upstairs to my room. "What are we doing in your room?" He asked. "This." I said opening my window. I climbed out and lifted myself on top of my roof. Aaron followed and sat next to me. I watched as the sun set in the distance. "Wow the view up here is great." Aaron said admiring the sun setting. "Yeah I come up here a lot to just think." I said. "So Lucas is your twin brother?" Aaron asked. "Yeah. He can be a real idiot sometimes, but he is a big softy around me." I said laughing. Aaron chuckled and looked at me. "Natalie I hope you know that my parents want to meet you." He said. "Why?" I asked curiously. "They noticed that I've been in a better mood since I met you." He said. "Hmm sure I would love to meet them." I said smiling at him. "What are you two doing up here?" Lucas asked. Aaron jumped at his voice and scooted away from me slightly. "We're just watching the sunset." I said as he sat down next to me. I heard the doorbell ring. "I got it." I said. I jumped off the roof and in front of the pizza guy. "Natalie!" I heard Aaron shout. I grabbed the pizza from him and handed him twenty dollars. "Keep the change." I said before walking inside. I climbed out of my window again and walked across the roof. Lucas was laughing as Aaron paced. He saw me and ran to me and hugged me. "I thought you died." He said letting go of me. "You're being ridiculous Aaron." I said laughing. I set down the pizza box and opened it. We each took a slice and I took a bite. "Hey Lucas which place is this from?" I asked. "I think it's called Zvahl's place." He said. "No way, that must be Laurence's dad's new pizza place he opened." I said. "This is really good pizza, I'll have to tell him." Aaron said finishing another slice. We finished the pizza and climbed back through my window. "It's getting late I should probably get back home." Aaron said as I threw away the pizza box. "Okay I'll see you tomorrow." I said. "I'll come and pick you up around noon." Aaron said. I opened the door for him and he stepped out. "Thanks for having me after...you know." He said rubbing the back of his neck. "It's not that big of a deal. I just didn't want to ruin our friendship." I explained leaning against my doorway. "I'll see you later Nat." He said. I pecked his cheek quickly and smiled. "Bye Aaron." I said closing my door. "What was that?" Lucas asked as I turned around. "I was just saying good-bye. I do it to Laurence and Garroth." I said rolling my eyes. I walked upstairs and got into soft shorts and a tank top that showed half my stomach. I went out one last time and said good night to Luke before returning to my room. I walked over to Serpentina and put a frozen mouse in her cage. I heard tapping on my window. I looked and found Laurence outside my window. "What the hell?" I opened my window and Laurence climbed through. "Who is the guy in your house? Is he your boyfriend? Natalie why is he when your dad isn't?" He asked hurriedly. "Laurence he is my twin brother. Why are you here?" I asked. "Cadenza wanted me to come over to make sure you were okay after the whole storming out thing." He said. "Well I'm fine. Now go before Lucas thinks you broke into our house and he beats the shit out of you." I said shoving him out if the window causing him to fall in the bushes. "I'm okay." He whisper shouted to me. I rolled my eyes and closed my window and slipped into my bed. 

*TIME SKIP*

I woke up to Luke shaking me awake. "Come on you're gonna be late for your date with Aaron." He said laughing. "We aren't going on a date, we're just hanging out." I said blushing a deep red. "Whatever." I shoved him out of my room and went into my closet. I picked out a white crop top and a pair of high waisted skinny jeans. I slipped on some black boot heels and walked downstairs to find Aaron and Lucas talking. "I like your car." Lucas said to Aaron. "Yeah I got it as a senior year present. I think it's a bit much, but it is an amazing car." Aaron said stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Hey Aaron." I greeted stepping towards him. "You look great."Aaron said a light pink dusting his cheeks. I smiled and Luke pulled me to his side. "You better have her home by 5:00 if you don't I'll find you and I will make you regret you were ever born." Luke said to Aaron. I shoved Luke into the wall and slapped his cheek. "Stop being like dad Luke." I complained. He laughed at me and hugged me. "Have fun you two." He said as me and Aaron walked out of my house. "Remind me never to annoy you." Aaron said smirking at me. I rolled my eyes at him and smiled too.
