Anyways, I thought wouldn't it be cool to show Cassie's backstory? Like, maybe she was an apprentice to the old builders?
Maybe she was abducted and had to be in the games, and maybe made a friend in Harper, and the two escaped together?
or, even better, Harper escaped but Cassie was caught, and she was banished and stumbled into the area she thought was the mesa.
She was hoping to find Harper.
Which led to episode 6.
So she was trying to get home, not back to the snowy old builder's area. That's why they kno her but hate her.
