starlight, star bright
first star i see tonight
i wish i may, i wish i might
have the wishes i wish tonight
i wish my parents didnt fight
i wish my clothes werent too tight
i wish the world had no spite
for everyone to give
i wish ive never had a fright
when bad things come out to bite
id give so much to find the light
on earth so i could live
alas these wishes won't come true
but i really hope they would
cause only me and only you
can do a world of good
