She'd wished she had at least gotten to say goodbye, to at least get some closure to tell them that she loved them....but it's too late. Way too late, they're dead and she's on a vengeful mission,a vengeful suicide mission to assassinate a pack, all alone....but she seems to be facing 'minor' setbacks in her plan. Will she ever be able to see her vengeful plan through?
Not everyone whom you trust is worthy of it.
Not everyone who you think won't hurt you, won't.
Not everyone who is dead, is alive.
Betrayal never comes from your enemies does it now?
Beware the ones that don't defend your name behind your back.
Alpha Dario will have to learn these lessons, the very very hard way, I suppose.
______________PROLOGUE_______________
"Vivian, back off.",Kiara growled, her eyes flashed gold, wanting to let her brewing anger out on the blonde girl before her.
Vivian has hated me ever since her now ex-boyfriend, Elliot had told her that he'd liked me allot and hoped I was his mate instead of her. He had a lot of guts to tell her that. I feel nothing for him and actually dislike him a little for causing this.
"Um,no one was speaking to you. I'm speaking to the b*tch over here.",Vivian growled as she glared up and down at me. Her wolf took a peek at the one she was challenging, I simply looked at my matte black nails, unfazed by the she-wolf's words, on the outside anyway, on the inside a volcanic eruption was waiting to happen.
Slowly I pushed back my curly bright red hair out of my face,I think I should cut my hair. My calm exterior never wavered as my icy blue eyes pierced into Vivian's and a small smile graced my lips as I never broke eye contact with the blonde, I was trying not to laugh. She had a lot of nerve confronting the Alpha's daughter
"Vivian, I really didn't ask for you opinion of me really. If you're looking for an outburst you aren't going to get it, pup.", I spat.
"Says the one who hasn't shifted yet.",she replied angrily.
I bit down on the insides of my cheek, that struck a nerve but I ignored that.
"And? I could still beat you in wolf form or not.",I muttered, it was true though, she was a Delta blood, I was an Alpha blood, watch the major difference.
Kiara watched on, at this point she would've been fighting. But she let me handle this one. Vivian's face contorted into one of anger and she pushed Kiara, who tripped and fell over landing on the ground.
Before Kiara even had a chance to react, a loud feral type growl emitted from my throat, my eyes began glowing a light silver as I stood and stomped towards Vivian.
She tried to run away but I was in front of her as soon as she turned around.
"Apologize.",my voice was clipped and filled with dark rage, my voice wasn't mine, it was merged with two instead, my wolf and I.
"I'm sorry!",she screamed out her voice loud and shaky as I kicked her towards a now composed Kiara who's fist collided with the blonde's chin. Her head flew up at the force of the impact. Losing her balance, she stumbled back and fell to the floor unconscious.
Leaning over to look at the motionless girl Kiara laughed lightly, "Should we take her to Doc?"
I didn't answer her as my hand cracked then realigned, a series of bones cracking and realigning brought attention to the pack. A scream left my lips as my shift began to take place. Kiara watched on, proud but worried about me. My clothes, no that was my favorite shirt!
After a minute of eerie sounds of bones breaking and realigning themselves into the bone structure of a wolf. I stood before a few of my pack members, on all fours. My wolf stood proud, copper colored fur shift in the wind, and a black patch in the shape of a crescent rested right in the middle of my forehead.
My wolf growled loudly at those watching, some bowed their heads in submission while some bare their necks, the highest for of submission.
Kiara shifted into her mud brown wolf and together they ran into the forest, chasing after each other. Our wolves meeting for the first time. They ran and ran until they reached the pack waterfall. They'd played together for the first time, splashing water onto each other and tackling each other here and there. It was one of the best days of my life. I wanted it to last forever. My life was going to be amazing, or so I thought.
