Havoc : Chapter Six : Sudden Relations

I was bored, I couldn't strike now, I needed time, I needed to wait. So here I was strolling through the forest, wandering through, till I stumbled upon a huge waterfall, it was so beautiful that I had to stop and look. I felt a presence resonating behind a bush, staring at me. Before I could stop myself my wolf growled in that direction, feeling threatened.

Down Athena.

"Whoever you are, I know you're there. I won't bite.",I called out as I decided that there was no going back now and that I should just go with it, I became rather annoyed at the fact that the person wasn't revealing themselves. After a couple of seconds a woman in her early twenties came out, wearing a sky blue chiton-like dress that ended right above her knee.

"Hi...I'm Vega.",she said bashfully and adverted her gaze to the lake a couple meters ahead, she was shy and reserved but something about her also screamed powerful.

Her eyes were a russet brown color and she sported shoulder length dark brown hair.

"Hi, I'm Adelaide. I'm new here, w-where am I?"

"Oh you're the girl Max told me about.",she muttered and looked at the lake. "You're looking at Crystal Waterfalls, not too far from where servants of the moons resides."

I sat down and brought my legs towards myself, hugging it, staring off at the beautiful water that cascaded from above.

 "Are you guys...replacement mates?",she queried in a withdrawn manner. 

"I don't think we've reached that level yet.",I said quietly,my heart rate quickened at the thought of Max and I steadied it. I was fraternizing with the enemy, I was betraying myself, my family, my pack, everyone I've ever loved,yet I wanted to go through with my pact with the voices, even if they've stopped bothering me for a while.

"Do you like being here so far?",her voice was curious, and I saw her glow a light orange.

"Yeah the place is beautiful, everyone's nice...",I trailed off as that day flashed past my eyes once again.

"Are you alright?",she asked politely and she sat next to me folding her legs in the process.

"Why do you ask?",I muttered as I turned my head towards her.

"You seem like you've got allot on your mind.",she said calmly and in an unhurried tone, she reached for my hands and stopped halfway. 

"May I?",she asked first and I nodded, curious as to what she was doing. Her hands held mine and I felt a light surge of power from her seep into my skin and into my mind. She gasped loudly and pulled away, in that second her eyes glowed a bright silver color, blinding me for a second, silver smoke emitted from her mouth and eyes then it returned to it's chocolate brown color and her mouth stopped smoking.

Her eyes watering and she hugged me tightly. It was a bit awkward because it took me a few seconds to actually return it. 

She stood and grabbed my hand, "Come I want to show you something."

"Coo Coo!",my wolf yelled out in my mind, she began moving her paw in a circular motion at the side of her head.

"For once we agree on something Athena.",I said inwardly and she nodded.
