Havoc : Chapter Seven : Overwhelming Sentiments
Dario PoV
"You called?",I mumbled absentmindedly at my mother as she stood pacing around the living room of the house I used to call home. She turned towards me, her light gray eyes boring holes into my dark gray ones.
"What?",I asked confused as to why she was acting like this.
"What!? What!!!? Es stulitior asino!",she angrily cursed me in Latin, yes Latin, she knows 21 languages and I only know 19, father knew 25 actually.
"Your mother is angry as inferno at the moment.",my wolf chuckled at me.
"How funny! Audric how very funny.",I growled at him and he simply ignored me scratching his ear lightly.
"Did you just tell me that I'm dumber than an a*s!? In Latin?",I angrily said to her and she growled at me.
"Yes, yes I did! Have you found your mate you idiot!?",she began pacing again, she was bouncing lightly.
"Yes...I think I have.",I lied fluently, but like the good liar she was, she was able to detect my lie as well.
"B*llshit!",she tapped me upside the head and didn't cease to stop glaring at me.
"What's the matter-"
"Use your head Michelangelo! Your father died, so you automatically take the roll! But now since you do not have a mate...I am still Luna, I was not Alpha born, I was only physically strong from drawing your father's strength...from the sudden power draining from my veins, by the next full moon... I could go rogue, rabid or I could die..", she said the last part in a hushed whisper.
My wolf's ears perked up and my shocked eyes clashed with her teary eyes. Facing away from me she furiously wiped them away. My heart skipped a beat and I froze, "What?"
"I could die because I am not an Alpha born Dario. I am strong in my own way, yes but it heightened because of gaining Luna powers and tapping into your father's strength. My body is slowly breaking under the pressure of containing a Luna's power. My body is returning to it's former build up, so is my mind. I cannot control it by myself.",she explained to me, still facing away from me. "I am not afraid to die. But to go rabid or rogue... That is my one true fear."
"Sh*t, our mother's going to die...",Audric muttered.
"No f*cking sh*t Sherlock! Tell me something I don't know!?"
"You're a lonely pr*ck...",my wolf growled angrily.
"Well...that's actually something I didn't know.",I mumbled towards him and he rolled his eyes.
"You're making it way worse for yourself, just...just shut up.",Audric sighed loudly and laid down.
L a t e r T h a t D a y
"Alpha Dario...about the vision you'd requested from the moon. She only gave me three words.", Vega gave me a serious look and I motioned for her to go on, with the raising of my eyebrows.
She took a deep breath as if bracing herself for something, "Time will tell."
Anger, that was all I felt, Vega seem to have felt it radiating of my skin because she stepped back instantly and hurriedly walked out of my office.
