Cliches

So there is a running theme in wattpad books. Cliche stories are way overrated!

Honestly? I'm tired of reading these kind of stories:

There is a beautiful (always white) nerd or popular girl who is beautiful and has no flaws whatsoever. She is perfect,gets good grades, and lives for food, but somehow has the perfect body.

(Ok food is awesome and I love it, but seriously?! It's kinda overrated. Food is supposed to keep us alive, not give us a guilty pleasure.)

Then there is the bad boy. (Who is never actually bad.) There are oh-so-terrible rumours about him, and that he is sooo bad and hot. (Ok, news flash: not every bad boy is hot!!) and he has a bad attitude, skips class, and SOMEHOW notices the ONE good girl.

(And there is also the school slut, who is a b**** but somehow is loved  by the whole school. The good girl tells her off and steals her popularity.)

The bad boy and good girl tease/flirt and insult each other for a while before confessing their love for each other. He takes her to dinner at his house where his mom and her are like best friends now and she calls his mom by her first name.

He tells her his oh-so-sad backstory about his abusive father (and that is sad, but puh-lese! Pick something new!) and they bond over that.

They have a bad breakup, get back together, go to the same college, get married and have 2-4 kids.

The end.

The FREAKING STUPID END!!

Omg NEWS FLASH: life is NOT like that!!! There is SO MUCH MORE TO IT!!

So I applaud you diverse writers, and I will try to find your books.

And to all you cliche writers, I have nothing against you, and I have read many of your books, but seriously, just pick something new.
