As we went back to our room to do nothing Livi's mom called us down stairs again.
"Someone is on the phone to talk to you. Please know before you talk to the lady that I did this for your own good." She said sadly.
I got a deep worrying pain in my stomach as I picked up the phone.
"Hello?" I said timidly.
" Hello, Alexa I'm from the Island home for girls, and it's been brought to our attention that you are living with a unleagulized guardian and your mother doesn't want you correct?" the woman spoke in a kind voice.
"Correct." I replied holding back the tears.
" Okay then we will be there tomorrow at 10:30 so you can sleep see you then." she said in a peppy voice and hung up.
" What happened who was that?" clueless Livi asked.
" I don't know ask your mom." I said loudly then stormed up stairs. I can't believe she did this to me.
As I walked up stairs I heard Livi start yelling at her mom and her mom was crying saying she was sorry.
After everything we have been threw they are sending me away to a house with a bunch a girls that are family rejects.
I google the girls home and it's for family rejects and girls that are emotionally unstable, like girls that are suicidal, self harmer, anorexic, and drug addiction.

" Alexa I'm so sorry my mom did that to you and she just didn't know what to do." Livi said.
" Sorry doesn't make up for it. I just made a new friend and now I have to leave her and my best friend that I knew for ten years. I just can't believe you guys betrayed me." I screamed while crying.
She just stared at me for a few minutes then left the room. I went into my bag and pulled out my blade and made 14 surface cuts. I just needed to control the pain inside.
I pack up the few outfits I had even tho it was only 7 p.m.
I found a bunch of money in my bag so I took it and left the house with Livi running after me.
"Where and what do you think you're doing?" she yelled.
"I'm going to the mall, I have like no clothes." I said, " and I need some weed if I'm leaving." I finished.
She threw her hands down in defeat and stopped following me.
I smirked at that. But then I remembered why I needed clothes and weed. I hope I meet someone who will understand. Maybe I can find a weed buddy.
After I was done shopping it was dark and really didn't feel like walking home. I knew the girl that worked at Pacsun, so I walked back to Pacsun and asked for a ride.
So when I got home i walked straight up stairs avoiding them and went to sleep just to get away from Livi and mom.
When I woke up it was about 9:30, that is probably the earliest time I've woke up since school. Livi was on the floor again, way to make up for it.
I jumped over her and went and got ready. My cuts looked so beautiful. after I was dressed I packed up my new clothes.
I went down stairs and Livi's mom didn't say a thing to me. 10:30 came around before I knew it. I wanted to leave but I didn't want to leave.
The doorbell rang and I answered it because I knew it was the lady from the phone.
"Are you ready for a new start sweetie?" the lady said too nicely.
" Yeah I guess so." I said, " Bye Livi love you." I yelled back before closing the door.
The lady brought a limo and it was just me and her and the driver in the car.
" So are there another 14 year old girls that" I hesitated, " cut?"
" Yeah there is a girl we paired you with. What I mean is you are going to share a room with a girl." she replied quickly and happily.
Great I get to share a room with a stranger. I hope she isn't a bitch or I hope she smokes. I still can't get over that Livi let her mom do this.
Since I'm from Boston it took a couple hours to get to the girls house in Rhode Island. the lady explained why I had to go to the one in Rhode Island and it was because Massachusetts doesn't have any homes for girls that family doesn't want them.
She also said that we don't get sold or adopted, the place is kind of just where you stay intill you are 18 or if your parents want you back. She said I don't have to worry about losing anyone because the only time I will lose someone is if they are 18 or if they kill them self. That's nice.
When we got to the house I got a nervous feeling in my stomach again.
" Go ahead and open the door and turn right." the lady said.
So I did and there was a whole room full of girls. There was this one girl who looked at and smile while the rest just looked at me.
" Okay girls go off the your rooms except for you." the lady said and she was pointing to the girl that had been smiling at me.
I guess she already knew she was going to be my roommate.
" Alexa this is your roommate Lauryn you guys will be spending a lot of time together." the lady said.
