(Y/N)'s POV

I woke up to the blinding light of the sun that shined through the window.

My eyes adjusted to the light as I yawned. I was about to move but soon realized a strong arm wrapped around my waist. His bare chest pressed against my bare back, our breaths rising and falling at the same rate. His nose nuzzled against my neck, lips pressed against my naked skin, giving me the feeling that only he can provide. I smiled to myself as I recalled what happened last night.

I haven't seen him for weeks. And God, I missed him. I missed his hugs, his kisses, his touch, or just his presence. Mainly his presence. Having him here beside me, even if it's just for a moment makes me the happiest girl to ever walk this earth. Finally feeling his touch after months of its absence. His lips reminding me of what it feels to be his, to be his one and only.

I sighed in satisfaction as I take everything in. I am a lucky girl indeed.

I slid out of his arms carefully, trying not to wake him up. I slip on my underwear and one of his shirt—that always smells amazing—and made my way downstairs to get breakfast ready.

I took out some eggs, bread and bacon out of the fridge. I then heated the frying pan and started to cook. I was humming a song that I forgot the title of when I felt two arms wrap around my waist from behind, startling me.

"I could surely wake up to this every morning." He mumbled as he rested his chin on my shoulder, leaving small feather like kisses on my neck.

"I sometimes hate it when you creep up to me like that Shawn. You know how jumpy I am." I rolled my eyes and tried to concentrate on the bacon. I don't want to burn things up. He chuckled and gave me a quick peck on the lips.

"Good morning." He said with that deep morning voice of his and that angelic smile, making the butterflies on my stomach go crazy. "Good morning to you too Mr. Mendes." He hummed in response as he nuzzled his nose on the crook of my neck and hugged me a little tighter.

"Shawn! I'm trying not to burn the house down." I laughed at his actions. "What? I missed you. It's been weeks since I last saw you (Y/N) and I am making the most of it, considering the fact that I only have a couple days break." He whined, kissing me on the cheeks, my forehead, my neck, my lips—basically distracting me.

"Well someone's being clingy." I giggled. "You can't blame me, I miss my girlfriend." He said, hugging me even tighter. "Shawn! I swear, I'm going to burn myself and you, and maybe burn the whole house down." I scolded.

"Fine. I'll be clingy later." He pouted as he let me go, making me laugh. "Why are you so cute." I giggled, giving him a peck on the lips, making him smile.

"Go get the toast ready." I added. He nodded and took the bread from the counter, giving me a kiss on the cheek before plugging the toaster.

I looked at him and I felt my cheeks go red. I never really did get a chance to look at him since he stood behind me.

He was only wearing boxers. No shirt, no pants, just boxers. His chiseled back facing me, his arms flexing as he placed some bread inside the toaster.
