You stabbed the tub of ice cream with a deep frown, eyes focused on the TV as you watch a romantic movie. "He's lying! Don't fall for it!" You exclaimed at the girl on the screen as the guy proclaims his love for her. "He's going to cheat then leave you like you are nothing." You added even though you know that she can obviously not hear you. You shoved another spoonful of ice cream in your mouth, your heart breaking as you drown yourself in your sorrows.
You can't help but feel bitter towards everything that involves love. What once you thought was a perfect and blissful relationship turned out to be a downright lie. You didn't see it coming since he didn't do anything that made you doubt him at all.
He was always so sweet and caring, treating you like a queen most of the times. Yes there were occasional fights but most of them aren't big, the two of you usually fight over small petty things which get resolved almost immediately.
