The Forgotten Warrior

Stoicks Plan pt. 2

(Stoicks POV)
Its almost been a month and that Enemy still hasn't showed up!
Who does he think he is?!?! I took a deep breath and collected my thoughts. Then turned back to the map I made of the island. He always came from the west side of the island.

I will line up twenty people in the west side to fire bolas at them. There will be people firing the catapults. In the Plaza I will have twenty people with bolas and ten people with nets. We will have traps all around the island and a doubled amount around the Great Hall. The arena will be set as a trap. There will be people with bolas, nets, two catapults, and tree dragon traps.

Every move he makes will be caught and taken down!

With a proud sigh of relief, I rolled up the paper, and set it aside. I then took out another piece of paper and wrote in  big letters: TOWN HALL MEETING AT NOON!!

That should do it.

I left the paper with the plan safely in my hut and walked to the Great Hall to get some food and to post this paper up on the wall.

(Astrids POV)

They cheif has been kind of distant lately. So I thought that maybe I should go talk to him and find out what's going on.

"Hey Cheif!"

" 'Morning Astrid!" He bellowed "What can I do for ya?"

"Well, I've just been wandering what's going on?"

He gave a confused look, "What do ya mean?"

"You have been pretty distant and distracted lately, I was just wandering if there was anything I needed to worry about?"

"Na, this concerns the grown-ups of the village."

What he said I was kind of offended by, but I shook it off and went to go to the cheifs house to grab the last of my things. I now live in my own hut!

I walked in and saw a candle lit on his desk. Now I wouldn't say I was snooping, I was just looking around and happened to fumble across it. I found a plan to take down the Unknown Enemy.

I have to warn him, but how?

I grabbed the plan, and went up to Hiccups old room to grab the bundle of things I had. I heard the cheif coming, so I hid the plan is had in my bundle, and walked down casually.

"Oh! Hey, Astrid! Did you come raid my house?" He asked jokingly.

"Nope! Just came to get the last of my things."

"Well, I'm gonna miss ya being under the same roof. Good thing your only a couple houses down!"

"Hahaha, yeah."

As I walked out, I couldn't help, but think...

That was extremely awkward.

I decided I needed to clear my thoughts, so I grabbed a chicken leg, some water, and went to the woods.

I was a couple of feet away from my special spot, when I heard two voices: Heather and the Unknown Enemy.

"Hey thanks for meeting me here."

"Yeah. No problem! What'd you need?"

"Has Astrid said anything about her dissapearence?"

"No. Why? Did you have something to do with it?"

"Um...yeah. Sorta."

"Ok. What does 'Sorta' mean?"

"Look.. that's not why I asked you here. I asked you here, because I need a way to communicate with Astrid. I decided I'd send my second-in-command dragon."

"You have a second-in-command dragon?!?"

"Yeah. It's a blue and gold Nadder. See look..."

An awesome looking blue and gold Nadder walk up to Heather.

"Wow!"

"She's very unique."

"Yeah I'll bet"

"Anyway, I'll be sending notes back and forth from Astrid and myself with her, but I also want Astrid to bond with this dragon. She reminds me a lot about Astrid."

"Hmm."

"Would you be able to go find her for me?"

"Sure!"

"Cool. I'll go hide. Thanks!"

"No problem!"

I waited about ten minutes before I walked into the opening, where the Nadder was waiting patiently. She turned her head and squawked at me.

"Hi!" I said kindly "What are you doing here?"

She then lowered her head so I could see the note. I grabbed it and read:
     Hi Astrid.
This is The Unknown Enemy. My second-in-command dragon was just sent to you with this note. This will be how we communicate. I only ask for one favor.... please take care of her. Which includes feeding her, giving her water, and company. I know that is a lot to ask because you are a highly respected warrior on Berk, but this is important. You can name this Nadder, you can spend as much time with this Nadder as you want, and you can even train to ride this Nadder. She is very skilled in fighting, she's strong, and she's smart. I think you two will get along well.
                                                       Thanks.

"Huh." I said mostly to myself.  "Well. This is going to be intresting."

The Nadder walked forward to my my satchel and grabbed the chicken. She looked at me as If asking for approval.

"Sure. I didn't bring anything because I didn't know and since it seems you really like chicken, go ahead."

She ate it gratefully.

I then started to throw my axe at the trees. This time was different, this time was a lot more fun because for ever hit I threw, the Nadder would shoot tree spins in the center of any tree around.

I laughed each time. It's like.. I didn't need to channel all my anger and feeling through my axe, it's like she cleared everything for me. I really like this Nadder.
