(Astrids POV)
We were so close. I started to slowly lift the hems of his helmet!
"Astrid!!" So yelled from afar.
Crap!
We both stepped away from each other and looked in the direction the yell came from.
Well this backfired.
"I think you have to go." He said.
"Wait no, please I...I" I was searching for words.
"Astrid...you need to go."
"Wait no I was just trying to..."
"See who I was?" He said half annoyed. "Yeah, everybody tries to do that, but guess what? None of them are successful! You know why?!? Because I get defensive, I fight them, and I hurt them!" He was now yelling, but then he took a deep breath and said,"But, I don't want to hurt you, Astrid"
He has said he didn't want any dragon or viking killed, multiple times, but this time, it felt like he narrowed it down to me. Just plain old Astrid Hofferson.
There was one more yell, this it was a lot closer.
After a moments of silence, looking into his eyes, "I don't want to hurt you either. You need to go."
There was another call for my name he looked in that direction, then at me.
"Ok." Was all he said, before he got onto his Night Fury, and disappeared into the dark sky.
*three day time skip*
He hadn't come after that Monday night. It's like the skies were hiding him and all of his dragons.
I listened for days. Not a single shadow. Not a single roar. Not a single whistle of a Night Fury. Not a single wing flap. Not a single silhouette. Not a single word. Not a single dragon. Not a single Unknown Enemy. For days.
It was slowly and silently killing me on the inside. The sad part is: I have no idea why. Why I cared. Why I was so curious. Why I acted the way that I did. Why I agreed to go home with him that one night. Why I didn't just kick the living yak dunn out of him. Why it was slowly killing me. But it was.

(Hiccups POV)After what I accidentally blurted out that one night, I could go back to Berk again , this month. So I scouted the area and all the dragons, Toothless, and I all fished for our selves.
On tuesday, I had smoked salmon. On Wednesday, I had cooked cod. Today, thursday, I had a brown trout. I was eating by the fire with Toothless. He finished his food fairly quickly.
Once he was done eating, I expected him to run off and go play with the blue and golden Nadder, but instead he sat there and eagerly watched me finish my food. As soon as I was done I looked at Toothless with a curious face.
He response was: to regurgitate half of a smoked salman and spit it in my lap.
Yuck!
"Uhh...no thanks bud, I already ate."
He then stuck his head down and slurped up the half eaten fish.
"Ok..um...no offense, bud, but that is kind of...gross."
He then made a noise that sounded amazingly like a laugh.

(Stoicks POV)We prepared for a battle everyday, but he never came. I figured it had something to do with Astrids disappearance. Which made me agrivated.
He is probably trying to pick of my best warriors one, by one, so soon we will grow weak, and crumble under his comand.
I need a plan. A good one. I need to come up with it quickly though because I don't know when he will decide to show up, none of us do. But one thing is for certain. This plan will take the Unknown Enemy down once and for all.
