Society has been on my list if biggest pet peeves for as long as I can remember. There are some many things wrong with society, so there will probably be a chapter or 2 to follow this one, but anyway let's jump into it.
The first thing that kills me is the weight apperance. What I mean by that is when everyone says you have to have that gap between your legs, a tight stomach that can't have even the slightest bulge, the gap between your arms, ect., ect., ect. People are going so far as to photoshop people to make them fit those STUPID guidelines (ie: the Target ad that was an epic fail and the fuel to this rant. If you haven't seen it picture's here →) or people hide women with a curvy body because she doesn't fit society's idea of sexy.
Now all I have to say is SCREW THAT! So what if you're missing that little gap anywhere. So what if you're not a size 0-5 and if you are so what. Size doesn't make anyone 'sexy', or 'beautiful', or 'hot'. Size just helps you find what clothes fit you best, cause let's be honest no one wants to be uncomfortable in their clothes. No matter if you're a Size 0 or a Size 7 or a size 18, 22 ect. Ect. Ect
Here's where society goes wrong, Size has nothing to do with sexiness. No, personality, character, confidence, the ability to live and be honest and loyal, and being yourself makes sexiness. Now before disagreeing, think about it. Why have someone who forces themselves to fit strict guidelines if they're rude, snotty, and hard to work with when you can have someone that's chill and awesome and sweet. What makes someone so special cause they're tiny? Same as what makes someone so special cause they're curvy? NOTHING! I think in order to be special, beautiful, and sexy is them being themselves. Having confidence is what makes someone sexy. If they can look themselves in the mirror and realize how beautiful they are and how amazing they are that's sexy.
Moral here: don't judge someone on their weight, they could be the best person/people you've ever meet. And if you think you need to fit into society you don't cause you bring you is what's beautiful.
