My name is Julia, I am 18 years old. I am a senior at a High School in Texas. I love music and I want to be a singer. My life is pretty much perfect. My parents are still together and my friends are still here. I am about to graduate and go to college. I am in a relationship with a guy who loves me very much and wishes me the best in life. I couldn't ask for more, so my life must be perfect.

It is two weeks before graduation and I am valedictorian. I need to come up with a speech before then. I keep thinking and thinking but nothing comes to mind. I hear the door bell.

"Who is it?" I yell from upstairs.

"It's Mason!" the person replies.

I run downstairs to open the door. Mason gives me a kiss on the lips and a big hug. Mason and I have been together for two months now. He has always been there for me and had helped me through everything.

"Hey baby, what you up to?" asks Mason.

"Oh nothing, just getting ready to spend time with the hottest guy in school."

"Where is this punk, I'm gonna beat him up." He says playfully.

"I don't think that's possible, he's pretty strong."

"Why thank you."

Mason kisses me again and walks me to his car. He drives us to the movies and we meet up with his friends.

"Did you plan this?" I ask with disappointment.

"What?" Mason replies with confusion.

"This is the fifth time Mason. You said it would just be me and you.Every time we hang out with your friends you always disappear."

"It won't happen this time, okay?"

"It better not or else I'm never going out with you again."

"Alright." He closes the conversation with a kiss on my forehead.

We go to the ticket booth and buy two tickets for the movie Frozen. We watch the movie and 45 minutes go by.

Mason looks at me and says, "Babe I gotta go."

"You know what, so do I." I say with frustration. I get up and try to leave.

He grabs my arm and pulls me back. "Relax, I need to take a leak." He laughs.

"That isn't funny, stop trying to get me mad."

"Okay." He smiles and gives me a kiss.

I continue to watch the movie and eat popcorn. The movie is over and Mason isn't back. Maybe he's in trouble, I need to go look for him. I walk out and went to the restrooms.

"Mason!" I yelled.

I call his name a couple more times. Then I go to the man working the snack booth.

"Excuse me, have you seen a boy with dark brown hair and hazel brown eyes?" I said sounding concerned.

The worker stops what he is doing and thinks for a second. "Oh yes, I saw him walk over there with some friends." He pointed to the exit doors.

I ran outside with anger in my body. I called for his name and called him on my cell. My phone call kept going to voice mail. Is he ignoring me? Where is he?

"Mason!" I screamed.

I walked to the spot where we parked and looked through the car window. I saw Mason and I opened the car door.

"Mason!" I called his name.

He was sleeping in the drivers seat and his friends were in the back seat also sleeping. I shook Mason trying to wake him up. There was a white powder like substance on his shirt.

"Mason! Wake up! You have a lot of explaining to do!" I slapped his face and called him once more.

"What the..." Mason finally woke up.

"Is this what I think it is?" I pointed to the stuff on his shirt.

"Well, um..." He sat in silence.

"Is this cocaine? Are you getting stoned? Is this what you have been doing all of those times we went out?"

"Babe, it's not like that. I lost track of time."

"Like always right? That's no excuse!"

"I..."

"It's over." I start to cry. "I can't be with someone who isn't honest with me, I can't be with you." This was the day it all started. My life wasn't so perfect anymore.
