Cindy made me take a couple more shots.

"Last one, I promise." Cindy handed me a shot glass.

"That's what you said last time." I sniffed the glass to only gag, patron. Eugh. I gulped the liquid quickly and scrunched up my face in disgust. I saw Tyler looking at me with wide eyes. "What?" I asked wiping my mouth with the back of my hand.

"That was your 9th shot."

"You've been counting?"

He nodded his head, "Yep."

I had taken different shots. Hennessy, vodka, and patron. 3 shots each. It was disgusting.

"Alright Cindy, I'm out." I gave Cindy a hug.

She hugged back but pulled away shortly, "What? No! Stay!"

"Can't, gotta go home."

"Come on, Julia!"

I huffed and sat on a stool, "Cindy. It's 11pm on a Tuesday. You're having a party on a Tuesday!"

She raised her eyebrows and tilted her head, "Your point is?"

"My point is that no one partys on a Tuesday night."

"Well, I party. And so do all these people here." She gestured her hand towards all the people.

I roll my eyes and stand up, "Well I'm still leaving, I'm already buzzed and I don't want you convincing me to take another shot."

"Fine. If you want to leave you have to take one more." Cindy slides a glass across the counter towards my direction before placing her hands on her hips.

"I can't take it." I pushed the glass to her.

"Yes you can." She pushes it back.

I roll my eyes and grab the glass, "I hate you."

Cindy grins and crosses her arms over her chest, "You love me, now drink up!"

"Ugh." I roll my eyes and take the shot. My throat burned as the liquid slid down, "Eugh!" The taste was horrible!

Cindy laughed and then clapped her hands.

I looked at her confused.

She caught my look and explained, "Looks like you're staying." She smirked and dragged me to the living room.

"What? Why?" I asked while Tyler followed and made himself comfortable on the couch.

"There's no way you can be sober enough to drive." She said turning to look at me stopping in the middle of the living room.

"I'm fine Cindy."

"Jules, you took ten shots." She held up five fingers on both hands.

"So." I shrugged my shoulders. Drooping my eyes trying to figure out what her point was.

"Walk a straight line." She moved to the side to have me walk.

I walked in cat walk style and stumbled a bit.

"See. You're drunk."

"I am not drunk."

"Yes you are."

I shook my head no but that didn't help.

Cindy grabbed a bottle of vodka and poured it into a cup, "Since you're no longer sober, you might as well keep drinking." She shoved the cup into my chest.

I put my hand on her face as if pushing her away, "Cindy I'm fine."

"Um...no. Whenever you put your palm on my face, you're drunk."
