I look down at my body. There is no blood, I don't feel hurt. I lift up my shirt, and I don't see a wound. I turn around slowly, I see Sophia lying on the ground. I go to her.

"Sophia!" I shake her. "Sophia, please wake up." There is blood everywhere. I check for a pulse, and a heart beat. She is dead. She died. She died trying to help me. I hear footsteps. I look up to see Bryan in front of me. There is a gun in his hand. I get up and run as fast as I can. I keep going forward doing what I was told. I keep running and running. Finally, I am out of the woods.

I see the motel I was at before. Then I see Mason, I was near Mason the whole time? "Mason!" I yell.   There are a bunch of police around the motel.

"Julia?" Mason turns around. I run into his arms. "I missed you so much." Mason holds me tight.

"Me too. I lo-" There was a gunshot. I slip out of Mason's arms and fall.

Mason catches me before I hit the ground. "Julia? Julia?" He shakes me. "I can't lose you again. Julia! Baby, please wake up! Julia!" Mason screams with pain in his heart.

I am rushed to the hospital. Mason is by my side through the whole thing. I am in the hospital for two days. The doctors took the bullet out of my body. I was shot in the back to the far right. When they took out the bullet, they find out that my brain wasn't functioning properly, I was too in shock. With my brain out of order, it needed some rest. Therefore, I am in a deep sleep for two days.

After two days, I wake up. Mason is by my side holding my hand and sleeping. "Mason." I whisper his name.

"Julia?" He wakes up and smiles at my face.

"What happened?" I try to move. My back hurts. "I was the one who was shot, right?" My eyes start to water, I think about Sophia.

Mason looks down with a sad look on his face.

"Yeah." He notices my watery eyes. "What's wrong?"

"I saw a dead person. She died trying to save me."

"Who was it?"

"Sophia, I know you know her."

"Yeah. I did. She was trying to warn me about Bryan. Then I lost my phone."

"About that, how come you never told me you lost your phone?"

"I was, but I saw you look through it."

"You came downstairs?" I felt so bad.

"Yes. When you called me I came. Then you lied about what was going on and I watched the rest." He rubs my hands. "I went back upstairs after you hung up the phone."

"Mason, I'm so sor..."

"You don't have to apologize. I wasn't really being a trustworthy boyfriend. You had your reasons."

"Mason..." A woman's voice cuts into my words.

"Julia, you're awake!" It was a familiar voice.

I turn my head to look at the woman. "Mom?" It's my mom! I haven't seen her in six weeks. She and my dad went on vacation and were supposed to come back on graduation day.

"Oh sweetie, I've missed you so much!" My mom walks over and gives me a kiss on the forehead."

"I missed you too mom." I smile.

"Mason! I'm so glad to see you and so glad you called!" She squeezes Mason's cheeks.

"Hi, Mrs. Garters." Mason rubs his cheeks.

"You called her?" I look at Mason.

"Yeah, but you were bleeding and you're her daughter and..." I interrupt.
