At breakfast one morning, Aliza remarked, "I noticed that no one has decorated the Christmas tree yet. Usually Professor McGonagall organizes the remaining students and holds a decorating party. But it's getting kind of late and she hasn't done it yet."

"There aren't a lot of students here this Christmas," Remus replied, gesturing to the nearly empty Great Hall. Aliza nodded in agreement.

"Why don't we organize the party this year?" she suggested. "Let's at least ask around to see who's interested in helping."

"Sounds good to me."

So, Remus and Aliza asked the remaining students whether they'd like to help decorate the tree. They found, to their disappointment, that no one else cared to help.

"We don't really need anyone else," Remus remarked.

"You're right," Aliza answered. After getting permission from Professor McGonagall, Remus and Aliza started decorating the tree.

"Put it just a little higher," Aliza instructed as Remus levitated one of the ornaments up the tree branches.

"There, that's good," she said. They grinned broadly at each other before admiring their handiwork. As they stared up at the brightly decorated Christmas tree, an upbeat Christmas song played through the magic radio Remus had set up. On hearing the song, Remus turned to Aliza, a mischievous expression on his face. Aliza threw her head back and laughed as he swept her into his arms and started swaying back and forth. They danced like that for an hour before the curfew bell sounded and the Christmas lights blinked farewell.
