Sam had been teasing Steve for quite a well about his crush on Miriam. It was getting so bad, in fact, that even Miriam was beginning to notice. One time, while several of the Avengers debriefed with each other, Sam made another crack about the Captain's crush on Miriam, loudly. As Steve flushed with embarrassment, Miriam stalked over to them. Sam's jaw dropped open when Miriam grabbed the front of Steve's shirt and dragged him into a kiss. Steve was too shocked to react so she pulled away. He blinked then blurted out, "Wanna get dinner sometime?"
"I'm free very night this week," she replied as she walked away, ignoring Sam's look of incredulous wonder.
