Luke and Kathryn were walking when Kathryn's foot caught on an extended tree root and she went flying forward, sprawling out across the ground. Luke gasped and hurried over to her, taking her arm and helping her up. Her shoulders were shaking and at first, he thought she was crying, but when she turned to look at him, he realized she was laughing.
"Oh my gosh!" she cried as tears of laughter streamed down her face. "Can we pretend that I didn't just fall?"
"Sure," Luke replied, chuckling a bit. "Are you sure you're okay?"
"Yeah, yeah—"
