Chapter 6- Do I know her?

Pat POV

I saved her. I righted my wrong. Now I won't have anything more to do with her.

Then why do I want to see her again?

I jog back up the castle, it's black walls still haunting me, expecting to be yelled at. I see Kerris, waiting for me at the entrance.

"I'm so proud of you!" Kerris yells, racing forwards and embraces me in a weird hug. "You actually teleported back here! I mean you're still in trubble for disobeying me, but really! How did you do it?"

"I, wait what?" I then realize I did teleport. It didn't click in my head until now. "I guess I just, wanted to go back home. Then I appeared here. It's probably nothing, wasn't teleporting common among the Shadow Knights?"

"Oh don't be so modest! Yes, teleporting was a common Shadow Knight trait, among ROYALS! You don't have Royal Blood, and they don't learn what your doing at your age! This only means one thing. You are going to learn things more advanced from now on!" Kerris go on in excitement. Sh-err- it is forgetting my punishment. I mean, I'm not reminding it.

As Kerris continues to ramble, I get lost in my thoughts. I keep on thinking of that girl. I'm glad she's Ok. I wish I could have gotten to know her, but I can't. If I do, we could get attached, then when... I fight him...

I know what that feels like...

But something about her. It seems so familiar. I can't put my finger on it.

"Well Patrick, you go then get some rest, we'll get started with more training tomorrow." Kerris snaps me back into reality and points upstairs. This time, I don't argue. I tiredly trudge upstairs and into my small room. However, I simply couldn't get that girl out if my head. I know I know her but... It's nothing but haze in the back of my mind. I felt there was something, I know there was something. I can't remember, I know it's something important, but it's something I pushed out of my mind long ago. The more I think about it the less certain I am. I just can't shake the feeling that I've seen her before, known her before...
