Pat POV
Woah, that was just... wow. I open my eyes, sitting up and glancing around where we are. It doesn't take long to figure it out. We're under the tree by the lake, the sun just now starting to set. We keep on popping up here for some reason. Beside me, I see Jen unconscious/sleeping. I smile, after all, this time I saw Necrosis turn to ash, and I told Jen how I feel. She has her soul back and she said she loved me soooooo....
"Jennnn" I say in a sing-song voice. I shake her shoulder gently and her eyes flutter open. Jen sits up so fast her forehead almost collides with my helmet. She looks around sharp and alert.
"Where's Necrosis? What happened?" She shouts with sharp breaths.
"Jen! Take it easy, calm down." I say reassuringly, grabbing her hand. "Necrosis is gone, we're fine."
Jen looks at me, her eyes full of fear. "How do you know, you weren't even there! He took my soul and-" she looks around in confusion. "Why are we here? Oh God, are we dead? We're dead aren't we!"
"What? Jen no, we're fine." She looks at me very confused.
"Do you remember what happened?" I ask, lowering my voice.
She shakes her head. "No, what happened?" My heart sank. After all, believe it or not, doing that took a lot, and now she doesn't remember.
Jen waves her hand in front of my face. "Ummmm, hellooo? Anyone in there?" She jokes, knocking on my helmet like a door. I let out a small chuckle.
"Yeah, sorry about that." I take a deep breath. "Do you remember when I said I had to tell you something important?"
"Uh, oh yeah!" She nods.
"Well, I, umm," I bite my lip, my face heating up a bit. Jen just stares at me with big eyes. She looks to adorable for this world... in a manly way... "You see, when we, I feel like-"
"Oh just spit it out Pat." She says with a pout.
"I-I, Jen, I can't imagine this world world without you. Your smile lights up me day, and I couldn't live without your laugh." Jen's face turns a little pink, but she nods. "I love you." I whisper "I love you with all my heart.
Jen thinks for a moment, then slowly leans in, and kisses me. "Good, because love you too." She mutters.
