A/N: This is short but important, you can probably tell by the title.
Pat POV
I step out, knowing where they are due to Jen's screaming. Necrosis, with his head held high, speaks to me.
"You're too late, I already have the Pink soul!"
I glance at Jen, her eyes pale. No, he really did it.
"P-Pat?" Jen whimpers, tears streaming down her face, "Yo-ou have to run, p-please."
I don't move. "I don't care if he has your or anyone's anything. I'm not leaving you."
"But I can't feel..." Jen trails off, looking away.
Necrosis just laughs. Stars I hate him so much. "You know, maybe I'll take your soul too, then you'll really be a pair!"
"Enough talking" I growl. I teleport directly in front of Necrosis' face, and before he can retaliate, I lift both swords and stab them into his eyes. He roars in pain, trying to get them out and heal himself. I race away as fast as possible, glancing back down to Jen, knowing what I have to do.
Jen POV
Pat landed next to me, and looked me in the eyes. I just stared back like he was crazy, which he was after what he just did. Attacking Necrosis like that. Speaking of Necrosis, he stood up, wiping the blood from his eyes and glaring at us. He stared to charge at us. I stare at Necrosis fearfully, even though, I can't really feel...
"Jen," Pat puts his hand on my shoulder, and turns me twards him, "Focus on me, not him. Now answer this. Do you trust me?"
"Right now," I respond glancing at Necrosis, "I'm not sure."
"Fair enough." Pat looks away, taking a deep breath, then looks me in the eyes. "Jen, do you love me?"
"I...I... Yes. But my soul, my emotions," I choke on tears "I c-can't-"
"Jen," he mutters, holding my hand tightly, "don't you get it. I don't care about that because,
I love you back."
Pat lifts my up and kisses me, I kiss back.
With my eyes closed, I see colors. Pink and blue repeating over and over. Pink and blue and pink and blue and pink and blue, and then purple, the colors combining for only an instant. I start to feel emotions again. Then suddenly, I see nothing but white. Then I descend into unconsciousness.
