When all else fails go back to the drawing board. So Arthur took that literally to heart grabbing a white board from his dad's office and mapping out everything.

Creating a flow chart he used four different markers to distinguish what to do next. After an hour of drawing lines and writing down the events leading up to this point he determined one thing, he fucking sucks at being a good Samaritan.

He decided that the only solution he could think of involved him giving up on this whole ordeal. Being nothing once again seemed better than running out every night to help people only for it to turn out worse for them after it's all said and done.

Arthur hung up his hoodie of justice getting back to what he did best and not even exist in the social crowd. School became the usual grind but always enjoyable considering the alternative. It didn't matter how much the voice in his yelled at him for being a giant pussy, he couldn't face the man in white no matter how much training he did.

It's one thing to practice for a given situation, but then to face the real thing is a whole new experience that no amount of YouTube videos and mental preparation could ever prepare you for. The same could be said for dealing with the bullies in Arthur's life that continued to make things complicated.

Things were back to being boring and normal, well as normal as they could be for Arthur, for a good while and he enjoyed not giving damn about having the powers that flowed in his body. He knew that his family would respect his decision, although Arthur could tell he let them down in some shape or form.

Near the end of the week something stirred inside of him. Arthur couldn't tell what it was but the feeling reminded him of being sick. Not the kind of sickness that makes you bed ridden, this looked liked he just got off the most terrifying roller coaster and now he wanted to puke.

It didn't help Arthur's sickening feeling when at that moment Elliot Reznick happen to spot him at his locker gearing up to make the daily bullying quota. With a well placed kick to the locker door, Arthur got knocked down dropping everything he once held in his hands.

"First day using your new hands?" Elliot joked with him and his buddies laughing hard against the other lockers.

Scrambling to pick up his stuff from the floor Arthur ignored him doing his best to not give Elliot the satisfaction that he got from bullying him. If he could only get through the rest of the day...

"Hey dumbass I'm talking to you."

"I'm not in the mood for this today Elliot," Arthur warned him stuffing his books in his backpack.

"Did I ask how you were feeling? Now where was I...oh yes showcasing how retarded people go about their day."

Zipping up his bag and shutting his locker in one swift movement, Arthur continued ignoring Elliott getting up to walk to his next class. Now if only Elliot heeded Arthur's words it would have saved him for what came next.

Grabbing Arthur's shoulder he held him where he stood. "Where do you think you're going we aren't finished yet."

"I told you man I don't want to do this today."

"And what are you going to-"

Without thinking Arthur gave in to his emotions. Grabbing Elliot by the scruff of his shirt he slammed him hard against the lockers crushing the metal that had been there for years from the impact.
