"I'll tear out your heart for this Trent," the man in the shadows' booming voice echoed across the throne room. "You went behind my back yet again interrupting all I had planned."

"Sir please..." Trent begged quivering in fear at the thought of what his boss would do to him. "You have to understand-"

"You will address me as Master you dishonest fool," he interjected running out of patience for his once former friend. "What do you want me to understand exactly! Giving an already unstable teenage boy powers, which he then uses to murder people, or the fact you allowed him to gain even more power. You have betrayed me for the last time, so now prepare yourself for what's to come."

With the snap of his fingers two of his servants held Trent by his arms and brought him down onto his knees to accept what fate had chosen for him. The once clean crisp suit had multiple stains and tears across the jacket, the lapels, and front panels.

Trent's eyes began to well up not caring who saw him cry, because that shit didn't matter when your life was about to be severed by an unforgiving beast of a man. With his vision focused on the man who brought him into his organization Trent watched in horror for what the Master had in store.

Getting up from his chair the Master extended his arms focusing powers to flow throughout his body. A brilliant white orb cultivated from the palms of his hands emitting pure unstable energy. Trent once again begged and pleaded for his life but the Master's mind was set.

Sending a shockwave of unimaginable force that rippled and echoed across the room, Trent didn't turn away from the very thing that killed countless of his other colleagues. Without so much as a whimper he took the full hit of the Master's powers forcing the entire room of altered people to fearfully look away.

After a minute they braced themselves to find a frozen statue of stone that once used to be Trent. Within seconds the statute began to crumble revealing cracks from the forehead spreading up, down, and around Trent's former body. In a blink of an eye it all turned into a pile of dust removing all trace that there used to be a living, breathing person knelling on the emasculate tiled floor.

"Ashes to ashes as they say," the Master replied barely showing any sign he cared about Trent's death. "Now let's get back to work shall we?"

Arthur never felt more ready. As his excessive training continued he discovered something very useful to his cause, a game changer to say the least. Thanks to his super speed his brain could process and absorb information at an accelerated rate making his already easy schoolwork child's play. As well, in such a case he couldn't rely solely on his powers Arthur decided to learn how to defend himself.

He discovered while sitting on James' Jiu Jitsu classes that he could learn every technique and form in a matter of minutes. Furthermore by simply watching YouTube videos that showed basic moves Arthur mastered them all.

By this time he got overly too eager to go out again to test what he learned over the past week and a bit waiting for someone to screw up. Answering his prayers the news turned his sights on an escaped serial rapist and murder by the name of Dutch Jennings who now held a young woman hostage in a condemned apartment building downtown.

Slipping on his outfit with gusto Arthur took off running at top speed to make amends for his past mistakes. In seconds he arrived on the scene behind one of many police cruisers that formed a barricade around the perimeter. Pedestrians gathered in a large group to see what was happening on a usually quiet street.

Sneaking under the yellow police tape while an officer turned his head to check on his partner, Arthur surveyed the building quickly before blindingly racing inside. Running continually up the rickety and decaying stairs, every room he checked held nothing inside but mold, mildew, dust, and the occasionally cobweb.
