I walk home that day with a nerves coursing through my body. I just asked Harry out. Why the hell couldn’t I have come up with a better lie? A date? Really Liam? I curse myself the entire walk until I walk up to my front door. I get that same uneasy feeling, that I always get.

When I open the door I see that the living room is in the same placement that it was before. I check every room in the home and see that everything is in order. It’s not until I get to my room that I notice the door is off the hinges and my room is a total mess. There are clothes thrown everywhere, pillows ripped to shreds, and my drapes that hang over my window slashed down. Then I see that my window is open. Someone broke into my room.

I dash over to my window and I see a looming figure. He is in all black. Black high tops, black jeans, and a black hoodie that is covering his face. I clench my fist and think of how I’m going to rip this person apart. Too bad as I am about to jump put my window the figure moves his head up. My eyes lock with a pair of ice blue ones. A grin flashes across his face before he begins walking away. I jump from my room to the ground and try to keep up with him. He turns a corner and I do the same. We keep like this each turn he takes I do the same. I think I almost have him as he turns to an alley way that I know is a dead end. When I reach the same place I see he’s no longer there. I look around and realize that I lost him.

My breathing is coming out heavy as I make my way home. I see Louis in the kitchen and I slam the door so he knows that I’m home. He quickly meets me in the livingroom and raises an eyebrow at my loud entrance.

“Care to...” He tries to speak but I cut him off.

“I think I have a stalker.” I look Louis in the eyes and he starts laughing.

I feel my anger boil as Louis clutches his stomach as his laugh grows louder. He hunches over and grips the arm of the couch. I sit and wait for him to calm down before I say anything else. Then I think about punching him but that might blow things out of proportion. Louis finally stops laughing and looks at me, seeing that I’m not joking.

“I’m being serious.”

“Liam, what makes you think you have a stalker?” Louis speaks and I stand from the couch, dragging him up to my room that is still a mess.

“Believe me now?” I ask and Louis gasps.

“But how the hell...”

“I’m guessing through the window.” I speak already knowing what he was going to say.

“But Liam you’re on the second floor.”

“I know.” I mutter and begin to fix up my room, to the best of my ability.

“Either you have a very persistent human stalker that found some way to climb up the house or...”

“It’s a vampire.” I speak and Louis shakes his head.

“It can’t be a vampire.”

“Why not? There are more of us out there.” I face Louis and watch as he searches his brain for something to say.

“It’s highly doubtful that there would be another vampire in this town.”

“I don’t know maybe he found out about us and wants us out of his town.” I shrug and Louis sighs.

“How are you sure it’s a him.”

“I saw him. Well just his eyes really. They really were gorgeous. They were ice blue if that helps with any vampire suggestions.”

“Sorry, nobody comes to mind. Especially since you’re the only vampire I’ve been spending time with for the last hundred years or so.” Louis grins and I can’t help but do the same.
