Liam’s POV

I jolt out of my sleep before my alarm clock goes off. I run my fingers through my hair and stand from my bed and began pacing my room. I had the oddest dream. It felt so real. Almost as if it was truly happening to me. It’s not the first time this has happened. I was running, or more like chasing after something. There was someone with me but their face was blurred. I knew it wasn’t Louis because his presence calms me. This other person’s presence made me shiver.

I stop pacing my floor and decide to skip out on the sleep. It’s not needed much anyway. I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen. Louis will keep stashes of blood in case of emergencies, and this is one emergency. I finish the blood bag quickly and toss it in the bin that’s by the sink. I rub my hands over my face once more and sigh loudly.

“You alright?” I jump and spin to face Louis.

“Shit Louis you scared me.”

“Who else would it have been?” Louis smirks and I roll my eyes.

“Whatever. I’m going back to bed.”

“No seriously Li, are you alright? I heard you get up and pacing your floor.” He gives me a sincere smile and I nod my head.

“I’m fine. Just an… interesting dream. That’s all. I might as well start getting ready for school.”

“Ok. Just tell me when you are ready to leave yeah?”

“Yeah.” I give Louis a quick hug and walk back up to my bedroom to collect my things.

When I enter I feel a draft and realize my window is open. That’s odd seeing that I didn’t open it earlier. I look out the window and see nothing out of the ordinary, so I close it and make my way to the shower. Once I’m done bathing I throw on a black jumper, my grey skinny jeans, and black Converses. I style my short hair and walk out of my room. Louis is in a nice looking suit. I chuckle and he pokes his tongue out at me.

“Oh shut up.” Louis folds his arms across his chest and I keep laughing.

“The professional look suits you well Lou.”

“Well thanks. Might as well look the part.” Louis shrugs and I nod.

“What’s your job this time?”

“A lawyer. They make great money and I can get paid to just compel people to doing what I want all day.” He laughs and I do the same.

“Leave it to you to find a loophole in every situation.”

“Obviously! Now let’s go. I can’t have you being at school late every day. It will make me look bad.” Louis turns toward the door and I run behind him so my lips brush against his ear.

“With that arse Louis, nothing can make you look bad.”

“Cheeky bastard.” He mutters and I laugh following him out the door.

We get in the car and Louis and I begin driving to my school. The drive is short and is filled with silence and I can’t help but think of my dream again. It just reminds me of something, that I can’t remember and it’s killing me to figure it out.

“So…” Louis trails off and looks at me.

“So what?”

“I was thinking. Maybe to help get your mind off of some things, you should join like a sport or something.” Louis keeps his eyes on the road and I can’t help the laugh that escapes my lips. “I’m being serious Li. I think it would be good for you.”
