"The king?" I asked.
"Why yes, dear. I am the king!" The Cheshire Cat said proudly.
"What happened to the Red Queen?" I asked. He looked at me like I was insane.
"The Red Queen?" He asked. I nodded. "Well, that is a long tail!" He said with a chuckle. I laughed. It was a funny pun for a cat. "Let's get to the castle." He said. The cool flesh of the king brushed my arm as he linked arms with me. He started to disappear, limb by limb, until it was only his face left. I looked down and realized my body was going too. Soon, I couldn't see anything.

When I regained consciousness, I was wearing different clothes. I had a lilac dress on. There was a thin white ribbon around my waist. It was tied into a bow in the back. My long blonde hair was braided to the side. I was sitting on a light pink couch. It looked like cotton candy. The room I was had dark purple walls. There was a large bay window next to me. It had lilac curtain surrounding it. I sat up and walked over to it, pulling them around me. If the king came into the room, he wouldn't be able to see me. I sat down on the cushions, looking at the full moon. I laid down, staring at the gleaming moon. It was mesmerizing. My head hit a hard object that was under the cushion. I pulled up the cushion and found a small book. It looked like whoever put it there was trying to hide it. I opened the book, and there, all of my questions were answered.
